Election Night . . .

Obama has taken New Hampshire. It's not many electoral votes, but a state that McCain thought he had in the bag -- it bodes ill.

Not me. I'm going to go start cooking dinner and open a nice bottle of Gewurtztremiener. Double pork chops, fried home-grown apples, mashed potatos . . .

Politics bedamned!

Kat <----- drinking margaritas already. Thinking about cooking pasta but no longer sure she really should be near an open flame. :D

And now the fiance is angry because I just flat out said I won't go to bed.

Elizabeth Dole loses her seat - why am I not surprised

Lots of Republicans losing their seats tonight...I actually feel halfway sorry for the party but favoring the rich and the corporate will only get you so far for so long. The rest of us get pissed.

*snort snort snicker snicker snort*

My husband isn't home yet but is telling me that they're hearing differently at work than I'm hearing here. He has to work tomorrow and I don't so I'll be up all night if I have to and he'll probably be mad at me just like your fiancee is mad at you.

LET THEM EAT CHEESE!! :p

Remember I saw those tits with names!

More seriously, I remember a very generous offer. Whatever happens, I respect that.

Easy for you to say! I want to know if I'm still going to be married in the morning!

Marriage is a contract between people. Any attempt to disallow currently legal marriages will be such a long drawn out court fight that by the time it's finally settled, all four of your kids will be married and you and Amy will be grandparents. Courage, Sue. I still think we're gonna win this bitch.

I'll be awake until it's over...too much adrenaline here.

Someone from the Obama campaign said "What worries him is that he doesn't see anything to worry about." :)

Actually...that is something to worry about. Or at least it's something I'd worry about if I were him.

What worries me is that the global economy is headed for the toilet, and the vast swath of Americans who are unable to think rationally about subtleties will blame Obama for that four years from now.
