Oh, they are the best. I love that John Astin, who did a lot to create the charter on the show (he even got to pick his name), wanted Morticia and Gomez to unabashedly, maniacally, wonderfully, passionately in love. They are so joyfully optimistic in their dark. I love them so much.

I did not know he had that influence on their character development, but I love it! I am very affectionate and I don’t care who knows it, and I love it for them too. Being weird as fuck with the person you love? Priceless
