This is crazy. I feel the same way about Bakowski and interestingly I end up almost always hating him, tuning him out and then inevitably running into something he has written that just makes me stop and think about how beautiful his words can be.If I never see you again

I adore and abhor Bukowski in turns. He is a brutal, cold, cynical, mean drunk with a pen as a weapon.
And then he will lay this out on my heart like a peony blossom, and he breaks me in loss and in beauty.
