A product of any machinery like A/C, and other powered systems. Having a few divisions on the less populated stash areas wouldn't be intrusive. A few cross overs from CIA Predators without being shot at will produce solid data. Besides, we already know they have at least two nukes. Wait till that gets out!

I guess that's true, but around Baghdad there would be so many heat signatures that it wouldn't be useful. Out in the deserts yes, but I'm sure the Iraqis aren't so dumb that thaey will have put no thought at all into camoflaging these heat sources.

Who are we kidding?

Whatever methods we come up with has probably been done X1000 by our satellites, and other products of our black budgets. Can you imagine nanobots that can be 'salted' over an enemy city, with the DNA profile of it's leader programmed into their direction-finding sensors? Can you imagine nanobots the size of a flea resting in the numerous chambers of anyone, relaying every audio signal from sex to a fart, back to Virginia? Knowing about the Aurora project, I won't be shocked when it comes to fruition.
