Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire, anybody? I can't play now, as dinner is almost ready, but is anyone interested?

the really sad thing is when you play Civ all morning, send a shuttle to Alpha Centauri... then go and conquer it....

I used to play Civilization II. Then I found everquest.

I have Empire Earth, which I bought in January. It's like a cross between Age of Empires and Civilization. It's fun to play god.

Didn't like it. One of my students let me borrow it- the graphics were awesome. Maybe I didn't stick with it long enough.

I was addicted to Unreal Tournament for a while - not into any game at the moment but thinking about signing up for that new FreedomForce online...

I think it's worth it. Been playing it for almost 2 years I think.

Alien Crossfire is an add-on to Alpha Centauri. I've found it very difficult to get Alien Crossfire anymore, though.

Yeah, downloading stuff with dial-up is pretty slow. That's the whole reason I went to DSL.

No luck finding that game so far April. If you wanted to play a game of Starcraft, or something else I could do that...
