That's an exaggeration, but it's basically true. Probably a majority of people would rather sit around and read porn on the internet than work, especially if they are almost as well off financially loafing as they would be working. And it gets worse before it gets better, if it ever does get better.

Those who really want to amount to something will see loafers almost as well of as workers, and not needing to get out of bed before noon, and they will join the loafers. This will continue until there aren't enough working people to pay the taxes to support the loafers.

That's how Socialism works.
