Defining Love

I do LOVE Buckner...........I am defining that.......:p
It's pitiful really, when a team's fans have to rely on the kindness of strangers for their successes. :p

Actually, I find that some of the Florida offerings - vintage 2003 especially - are just coming into their own now. ;)

Granted. It's part of a long and difficult spiritual journey that few can understand, let alone undertake. Those who choose this path find truths that others cannot imagine, wisdom that few can glean, inner beauty that outshines the moon... I could go on but I don't want to gloat any further. :D

So good of you to mention screwing and get the thread that much closer to its original purpose. ;)

Now where were we? Oh yes, on the matter of firsts.

For example, I still remember the first moment of humility I ever witnessed from a New Yorker.

Sorry....easy, low-hanging fruit. :p

So let me get this straight ... you're on first, right? ;)

Sorry ... after all that talk about baseball - I couldn't help it. :D

I can't say we have the lineup ready for the umpire yet... but it would appear that in the Yankees contingent DLL is on first and Ammo44 is on second; for the Red Sox crowd I'm hitting clean-up and Cate is the catcher (at least occasionally).

Sometimes it feels like we're playing fungo instead of defining love, but that's ok. Baseball and good love are both important ingredients in a full American life - it's just that some might argue on the proper proportions.

Humility from a New Yorker? Really, that's like expecting Mother Theresa to swallow with a smile.........(unless it's the pope)

Perhaps that's what made it so memorable...what do you think? ;)

I think I'm best suited for right field.....that way I can just hang out and ponder!!;) But I'll do what ever it takes for the home team!!:)

Just as long as you are not a short stop...........winking at ya........

[Sees DLL and starts to wonder if he could make it to first base with her standing there. Yankee had hinted to him about umpiring which would be more than OK especially with Liza behind him as Hind-catcher ... hmmmm ... decisions, decisions. Then realizing with his wife away at a birth this evening, he can just play the field.] :D

I'm in. ;)
