Daddy's Little Girl - Fourth Edition

Question for the littles, if you don't mind. What is the one thing your/a "big" can do for you to let you know they care about you and your feelings?

Being supportive is the biggest thing.

My Daddy is not perfect, but he is the most supportive person I've ever met. He believes in me and thinks I can do anything I put my mind to. He's got a lot more faith in me than I do, lol.

As many of the others have posted, it’s not just one thing. It’s the way he remembers things that I’ve talked about and refers back to them. It’s the way he double checks that I’m getting enough water or sleep, or sunlight. It’s the safe space he creates so that when I need to vent or be small I know exactly where to go and what to expect. It’s communication; he never gets frustrated with me for needing to be told multiple times that things are going to be okay. It’s following through with his word when he gives it.

But honestly, those things are what make any person a good partner.

Silly fun thing we did tonight, long distance. I'm having the same dinner four nights in a row to get rid so old stuff in the freezer. Since my salads are often pretty I share pictures of my dinner, which I did last night. I realized how I sent it last night and put in a few variations, and asked her to find the differences. She had fun figuring them out and sending me her guesses. This was particularly fun because she found all four differences (the fork placement was different, the bowl color was different (plate was the same), there are no almonds in the salad, there are strawberries in the salad).
