No worries. :)

I have been busy gearing up for homeschooling with my little girl.

We are starting back on August 12th, this summer has flown by!

:)

I'd love to be able to homeschool. My daughter could handle it but my son needs the socialization and structure of a classroom, badly. They are in public school and are terminally bored by it. I defacto homeschooled for 6 months when I pulled them from preschool a few years ago. I can't do it now. From what you've mentioned your kids are ahead of their cohort, too. It seems that advanced and special needs kids benefit the most from homeschool.

Every day is homeschool to a degree:), when I have them:(

"You and Serene and RA....(and Hayley too for what she does) deserve my utmost respect. While I love the idea of homeschooling my kids and grands (in theory) I know full well I haven't the necessary patience. Oldest son would have done well with individual attention and my youngest taught himself to read but enjoyed being part of a small class room group. The other major factor of course was that, as a single parent for most of their formative years, it was incumbent on me to provide their other necessities as well...."

It's certainly not a thing that everyone is in a situation to do.

And thank you. I do love my job.

Good Morning to all the Lovelies and Gents ... a vat of coffee to share, a plate of eggs and toast to take to the chaise lounge under my lap robe. Doc still will not release me to go back to work, dang it

I chose long ago not to have children ... and greatly admire those that parent, and parent well. Seems we have a large number here ... and given all the poor parenting I observe at work, it gives me hope there are more good than bad out there

Hugs and an air kiss allllll around :)

Hello to the daddies, baby girls, lils, and all the other nice people stopping by. I hope you are all having a wonderful day :)

Happy Hump Day!! What a busy day!

Daddy Mutato arrived safely and is happy in the arms of his Angel. He is doing well and wanted me to say Hello for him.

(Have fun daddy M!! I hope your arms are always encircling your sweety)

Yes, so many things are teaching opportunities. :)

I am thankful I am able to do it and enjoy it.

All my children are grown except for the youngest one. :)

Yes, not everyone is meant to parent and that if fine. I have friends that are childless by choice. I have to say though, they do make a great honorary aunt and uncle.

I have a Social Work degree and I have to say I have witnessed a lot of bad parenting to say the least. :( It is horrifying to see what means parenting to some people. :(

a daddy fetish - yes i have a big one, happen to think i cum harder when he calls me daddies lil cum slut while he slams me against the wall

"Agreed Serene - the SO is an EMT/Paramedic and some of the things he sees are equally horrifying:("

Trees and woods

HS wanders in and shakes his head in disbelief as he reads through the events he missed. In the silent halls, the kitchen is soon on the go, coffee, muffins and a special of 24 bantam and quail eggs scrambled up to fluffy perfection, he calls out a cheery ''Good morning special family and friends''

Then grabs a chair at the favored corner table, splits the newspaper sections and pens a note to DD, explaining his absence and more importantly his find in a nearby wood.

With his own memories of the pain and pleasures of parenting flickering through his mind, he reckons he proved up to it and then focuses on the latest cricket news......

Before I had kids the only experience I had teaching was for 18+. Despite their alien being aptitudes (in opposed and mutually exclusive subject matter) my kids are still a much greater challenge over proto-adults. There is no better feeling than watching a lightbulb come on for the first time.

Morning to all the Lovelies and Gents ;-)
Wrapped in my favorite green blanket, plating eggs and a muffin, pouring my favorite Disney mug full of coffee, snatching my comics and settling on my Chaise Lounge by the garden

I love being an Auntie to the kids in the family - borrow, spoil, enjoy, return

Morning CA! :rose:

I'm still moving small stuff over, usually a load a day. I'm waiting to hear back from the local Habitat for Humanity store to see if they'll come pick up a couch and desk I want to donate. Otherwise, it will go to Salvation Army or Goodwill.
