Couples Flirting in Forums?

People say if I don't like something, I should get over it and move on.

It seems a few can't follow their own advice. One is even carrying this thread over into other threads. Hey, take it easy and just relax.
 
OK, I read the first page of this thread and skipped over the rest, as I can most certainly guess what went down.

Not to be a jackass - OK, I'll be a jackass anyway - but your keyboard has a scroll function. Is it too goddam hard to just scroll over the mush and move on?

Isn't that what you just did.... complain about this thread? And, I didn't do that. I thought I was asking about some people's behavior.

I scroll plenty and don't usually complain about anything going on, so a little slack. OK? And you are not being an ass. Well, maybe. :rolleyes:

Hey! You started it. It seems like the "have nots" are upset at those who "have." Just wait...someday you'll have a girlfriend too.

It was but a short while ago we exchanged PM's; do you remember that? I sent you this:

I assure you, no offense was taken. I was merely teasing you. By all means, enjoy posting with us. We enjoy the repartee and cleverness.

I hope I didn't offend you.

But a short time later you have the temerity to start this hang-dog thread complaining about people who have a need to flirt in these threads. Since you joined the battle, you can damned well suffer through my ripostes, wherever I see fit to post them, and I will post them whenever and however much I want. And that will give you more to practice ignoring.

Grow up already.
 
i don't see the harm in it meself, although i'm trying to recall an instance of it.

There is some irony involved when people complain about my complaint.

I don't think I have many enemies around here, and don't wish to make any new ones. Please enjoy the discussion, if you like, or at least enjoy the irony. :eek:

I think I flirted with k before I realized she was your girl and did not know your 'anger' was only meant as as joke. Wasn't that why I apologized? Also, I thought pm's were private? Again, I didn't start this thread because people flirt. I asked about people who take over a thread with things that could be private.
 
To answer your question, no, it doesn't matter to me at all when people flirt in threads. I think it's nice to see people being friendly and happy.

Since it was my portion of the PM that I quoted, I have no problem sharing that with the site. I didn't quote one thing you wrote in the PM. I can choose to make my portion of the PM public if I wish.

I quoted my portion to show that, contrary to your complaint that people take over a thread, we invited you to participate. We were far from taking over anything and welcomed your participation. Thus, your complaint is illusory insofar as it applies to us. And that is why I find your thread disingenuous.

Your flirting with Kendra has nothing to do with this. Reread my PM quote.

I never said it applied to either of you. We all know it is difficult to get nuances in text compared to voice, but my sense is you are getting upset over very little. Don't.
