There's a lot of younger folks who have been swayed by the "voting doesn't matter" propaganda. There's a lot of money invested in keeping people from voting. I hope they are asking why.

Having the intense and immediate consequences of an election strike home has helped a lot. And, of course, the fact that being trans/NB/GQ doesn't phase them, and the attacks disgust them, well, the right is doing everything it can to energize younger voters.

From what I've seen, conservatives are very interested in telling others what kind of sex they can and can't have, who they can or can't have sex with, and enforcing their own religious morality on folks who don't share their religious beliefs.

I definitely don’t agree with that, although I know there are some who do come with that mindset, unfortunately.

In my experience, conservatives are far more open minded than many think, they just may not like certain things that they don’t agree with thrust in their face. I am not one of those people, I am accepting, compassionate and open minded

You might not be a conservative then. You might be checking the moderate box and not know or understand it.
