Confessions: What Are Yours?

One way to protect yourself is to never post a pic of your scantily clad body with your face unblured.

Not too sure if you have any up but pics of your body, however clothed it may be, can't be attributed to you as your face isn't included in the shot. In other word it could be any one. There fore it can't come back to haunt you.

Also if your feeling that anxious then maybe you ought to take your pics down until you water mark a them and vette them for any distinguishing features.

Also water marks, as another poster pointed out, are a decent idea if you've got the inclination.

I know it seems like a pain in the butt. And it is however a couple simple rules to keep in mind and a few extra steps before you post a pic isn't that difficult.

I guess you have to ask yourself if the benefits (improved self esteem/body image etc...) of posting pics of yourself out weigh the pain of protecting your identity from intraweb louts.
I'm working on watermarking at this very moment. Thanks.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Loralie!

ICT I really really overindulged last night.. grrr demon rum.. LOL

if someone cannot take the time to put together a thoughtful PM or even a post... then I don't see how you owe them anything... especially if it makes you feel trashy.... don't engage, if you respond... you are giving them an inch. You are far from trashy. You are an intelligent, thoughtful, caring and yes, beautiful woman. You should be treated as such, and you should expect it for yourself. Good luck honey.

Unfortunately there are way too many people on here that don't offer the respect others should be given in my opinion. Consider the source, as my grandmother used to say and forget them.

ICT I just read this thread: http://forum.literotica.com/showthread.php?t=473766

and I'm feeling anxious, to put it mildly. Sometimes I question my own sanity.

Thanks for the link, MYW.

ICT It was a creepy revelation, but all the same, it's totally possible and can happen to anyone, in this digital age. Sometimes I question myself too on why I still post pics - I've proven to myself that I can make "it" (whatever that "it" is) in Ampics.

I remember another poster, Funinthesun - her pics were used by another user and posted in a different porn website, and she took her pics down for a while. She came back and posted watermarked pics, but I dunno if she's still active at Lit (or maybe with another username). Then I remember Lorelei and the threats that she received which led her to removing her pics and leaving Lit. :(

Thanks meat_robot for this remark. I don't post face pics, but I do have a birthmark on my tummy (which for me is a distinguishing feature) and have never thought of blurring it out in my pics. Next time I'll do so.

ICT it's best to err on the side of caution, and never reveal too much of yourself here.

Sound advice Shai!

Thanks Twisted. :) I've read about some horror stories about Lit girls and their pics being used elsewhere, or them being threatened with RL exposure. ICT I must rethink my motives on why I post pics. Hmm, maybe a good post for the NY resolution thread. ;)
