Body hair grooming practices, men and women.

Shave or unshaved preferences aren't unusual here but I'd like to hear about Listesters body grooming practices. We take it for granted that women shave their underarms and legs and that some groom or remove their pubes. Men often as not shave their faces and some groom, trim, or shave their pubes. I alternate between closely trimming and shaving mine by personal preference, but it's easy to let things go for too long when it becomes tedious.

So how do y'all do you're body hair trimming or removal? For the last year or so I've been using a Panasonic Unisex Wet or Dry body groomer and a razor. The first trims closely but you have to watch it around the scrotum, that's when a good razor comes into play. The only thing I disliked about the penile and scrotal piercings I had was taking off the pubic hair while I had them.

I'd appreciate hearing other's viewpoints. If there's interest in posting click to open pictures of your process or result then great. I can do the same. But if you do then keep it within guidelines.

That usually results in ingrown hair so less than completely smooth is easier. A lot of people choose waxing and I've wondered if it can cause ingrown hairs.

any sort of hair removal can cause ingrown hairs and I'm honestly too cheap to do waxing. I'd love to have laser hair removal done on my bits at least the bikini line cus I don't always wanna be bare but Mr. won't pay for it lol and I'm a broke bum

These days, I only shave my face (beard/mustache) and keep the pubes short. Honestly, I can't look at / stand myself when there is a jungle below the belt.

My only irk with a razor...regardless of brand is if they're brand new you're going to get nicked or cut down there. As for trimmers...the Panasonic I have will leave some stubble with its guard on. Take that guard off and you'll get pinched on the soft and fleshy bits. I'm going to try a gel pube hair removal product next week. When I do I'll try to remember to get a picture.

Harder to find places that will wax men but hopefully you can find one to try. It can be a bit painful for sure but the pain doesn’t last long.
I’d recommend the full manzilian where your ass gets waxed as well.

Alright, I just used the Veet product again like before, lower stomach, mons pubic, the bottom of penile shaft, sack, and taint. Perhaps a little smoother, but still no irritation. It looks like the time between using this product and shaving is about the same. I like it. No hair below is perfect for the warmer months.

But in the past 5 years, I've let my lady wear her blanket again. Granted, I keep my kitty well-coiffed, not the wild tangle of my teen years, but I've seen what an enticing effect it now has on men. Especially younger men who have mostly been with younger women who began to shave at the first hair of puberty.

Everything south of my front door remains clean-shaven (I actually get that part waxed), so I always feel fresh back there, even if I'm not. As for my man, I prefer him clean-shaven for the sole reason of not enjoying a stray hair in the back of my throat. To keep it fun, I provide shaving services. I would never ask him to wax it because that would probably be the last time he would ever groom again.

I only use an electric razor, so I can never get a clean shave, and my facial hair starts becoming visible again within a couple days. I trimmed by bush twice with scissors, for the first time a few years ago. I made it uneven and it never grew back as much as I had it originally. I took it all off (by"all" I mean, as much as I can with an electric razor), for the first time a couple weeks ago. And a week later I shaved my chest hair only for the second time, but I put the plastic teeth thing on it, because the other time I did it, the hairs were stiff, so I still have some hairs, but they're not as long. I've also done my ass a few times before and I wouldn't recommend it. I wanted to do my pits, but the angle didn't work for me, but they don't really bother me and aren't visible. But yeah, this is the first time I've had both my bush and chest shaved at the same time. I kind of like how it looks and feels, but using an electric razor isn't the best as you can get cut and not get a clean shave. I agree that the balls are definitely the hardest. I wasn't able to get a clean shave. The most annoying part is the first couple days it itches and burns. Also, I have so much that it's just so tedious. My bush at least take a long time to grow, but my chest hair the first time I did it, grew back fully within two weeks. I like of like how it looks and feels. It's nice to try something new. I wish I could stay like this pernamately, because I have so much that it's so tedious and time consuming to remove it fully. I think I'll use the plastic teeth though, so I still have a little, but not so much that it looks gross and gets into places.

I like your decisional mindset behind this because change is inherent in life. I'm a bare or groomed down-below guy throughout the year but either approach takes time. So sometimes I just let things take their course through the winter.
