It is the day after Thursday, but before Saturday. :D

Thanks.

But since I keep forgetting about those days too it doesn't help much.

How found are you if you're found by someone who's lost?

You are found not to be alone. Very found I think.

Just out of curiousity .. who is in the current line up for doing reviews?

Sun: Sev/MasterFound
Mon: Janie
Tues: ?
Wed: ?
Thurs: ?
Fri: Rob
Sat: Sirhugs

Is it fair that I do my reviews today, if the preponderance of Contest stories leaves me little else to review?

I have an entry ( though I'm in it for readers, not winning), and would hate for anyone to think I was trying to "fix" the contest.

I don't think it's UNfair... but that's just my take. Do it if you want, don't do it if it bothers you, that's what I would say.

I hate the idea of NOT reviewing, but none of the non contest stories tickle me the right way, while some of the contest stories are noteworthy...but maybe they all are?

sirhugs, I think you should do the reviews whether you wrote one or not. I don't see it as fixing things. People may view a story you suggest, but in the end they vote by their own desires.

If you want, just put a link in your review that also tells folks where they can see the ones you didn't review.

I started reading them this morning. I read one all the way through and back clicked out of two others before even getting halfway through. Not all stories are going to appeal, but what you may like may be something another doesn't. So if you want to review, do so.

Reviews

The way I look at it is a reviewer can review any story he/she wants. It's easier to review stories in area's you are comfortable with. It's just one persons opinion anyway. I do believe that anyone should be able to review any story other than their own. I know there has been a few that I would like to have mentioned and I'm sure other authors have felt the same.
Just another opinion

thanks...I did highlight a few stories I thought were notable, not just for excellence ( I find almost all contest stories are wonderful), but for eccentricity or uniqueness.

The St. Valentine's Day Massacre Fiasco by Jenny Jackson, in Humor & Satire. What I love about this story, and JJ's stories generally, is her willingness to take risks, to just be different, to be herself. For example, I love the talking cock. Too funny! I also like that it isn't your ordinary roses, chocolates and romance.

Awwww thanks, SirHugs. You're a gem.

The Curse by past_perfect is in Romance, and I wondered why. This dialogue driven tale is sad, weird, loving and tender, but rough for Romance. Perhaps bdsm lite? It is dialogue driven, so I liked that. A bit short of the erotic content, perhaps why Romance seemed right?

:) :rose: Thanks a lot for the review - and yes, I had a bit of trouble figuring out in which category it should go. Well, none of the categories seemed exactly right, but I am still hoping that they might add "weird stuff" one day, for there I would feel right at home. ;)

I know what you mean, as my stories get longer and stranger...I'm thinking the right category might be "polymorphous perversity"...except then, "Anonymous" would complain we didn't include everyevery possibility.

*sigh*

Deay Diary ch 2 by Rachlou in Letter& Transcripts.
I think it is hilarious, and sexy at the same time. It could easily be in the Humor category. I liked the breezy tone and flow of dialogue - it unfolded for me like a film. I would have added more heat if I was the chef, but that's my taste, and rach's effort is a tasty tidbit as is.

Thanks for the lovely review sirhugs
