I've found myself online a lot more often as of late and was wondering if there was a need for any more reviewers... I would like to help out if possible.

someone who knows these things should be aslong to post a list of available days. But don't wait. Jump in with reviews at your convenience.

New story

I posted a new thread on this and Vermillion said to trythe feed back fourm. So here it is again. Sorry if you alread read the thread.

Hi, I'm DG Hear and my latest story just came up. Since most of you have read the Earth Day submissions and are looking for something to read. (haha), I would like feedback on my latest. My editors said it's one of my best. So if you have 20 minutes to waste, I would appreciate feedback on this one. Here's a direct link to the story, If I did it right.

Thank you for any comments, positive or negative.

Also thank those of you who read and voted on my two 'Earth Day' stories. I do appreciate it. They may not win any awards but I did obtain the little 'H' next to them, thanks to you.

It is, isn't it?

Beautifully written and incredibly arousing.

My reviews were my first posts since Monday.

I won't stop reviewing if the reviews are ongoing, unless someone else wants this day, please.

I like to fulfill commitments, but though I still read Lit stories, I'm just not here on the forums right now.

Category: Gay Male

Review:

Very hot gay male tale. Tom, 3113, and Jus apparently know their gay stories. As a bi man, I can really appreciate this category, and I give this chapter a 5.
Hey, Sevy. *juicy *

Thank you for the kind words about our story. *squidge*

I'd happily make you my bitch to thank you, but you're a tough top, so I don't think it would work. * :D*

The new phonebooks are here! The new phonebooks are here! I'm somebody now! :D
Story:Greek Myths: Zeus and Semele

Author: l8bloom

Category: Chain

A recent addition to the chain, Greek Myths, l8bloom's entry is a satisfying read. She retells an old story with freshness and uses clever bits of humor to spice it up. Her writing is as strong as old limburger (sorry l8) and takes the reader along for the ride as she relates this old tale.

It's definitely worth checking out. A strong 5 for this little gem.
And I woulda been happy to rate up there with English Wensleydale. Thanks to drksideofthemoon for the kind mention. :rose: It's my first. :)

Request

I am a one-time member of the New Story Review thread, but for some reason, it doesn't seem to be coming up on my list.

If anyone can provide the link, I plan to get back there and add some new reviews, as I have more time for reading now.

Hope all are well.

Here's a link to the New Story Review thread.

It's a sticky at the top of the Author's Hangout forum.

Thanks

My sincere thanks for the help. I have posted my review and plan to do more, as time permits. I have my own writing to do, of course.

Nice to be back.

I appreciate the efforts of everyone who contributes to the New Story Review Forum. That includes SirHugs who I thank for his kind words about my How-To contest entry. Oh yeah, and I'm grateful for his not adding "bater" to the end of "Master." It's a bit of tasteful restraint I've just proven incapable of emulating.

Someone asked about reviewing old stories. I suppose that in the title "New Story Review Thread" one could take "new" as modifying "review" instead of "story." In that way, it would be perfectly kosher to post a new review of an old story. Adding an indication that it is not a recent release (aka, "blast from the past") would be a nice courtesy to the readers.....Carney

Does anyone know if, and or what, the schedule is these days?

I had saturday ( inherired from Red). I took a hiatus from Lit, during which Itime I kept up revirews as my only posts, but stopped when no one else was reviewing in between two saturdays. I'd pick it up again if it gets active - or sunday. I'm too busy through the week.

If there is enough interest we could try and go back to a schedule of some sort. I really can't promise anything though at this point. I'm working outside the home now, so my time isn't as free as it used to be.

HI all and greetings RED. :rose:

No, I'm not dead - but I've also been working more than normal and at hours not my usual. So I've been absent and not had much chance to post.

Why not start a separate thread called "Blast From the Past" and post a link with "Story Reviews...?" That way, people could post on either.

Hope all are well.

Hi there Brett.

I'd say starting another thread isn't necessary. One review thread works just fine and as you can see, we don't even keep the one current. A second thread would be another that people would post on for a bit, then abandon. I think one Review Thread is enough, but that's just my opinion.

Threads

To each their own RED. I find the problem with this thread is finding current stories I want to review, but I have LOTS of older ones I can recommend, including some of yours.

We will see what happens once you and I have more time, I suppose.

Brought over from review thread:

I found your feedback relevant, and I especially enjoyed reading a couple of your stories for examples regarding character development through dialogue, which is a strong point in your writing. I look forward to reading the rest of your work.

Glad to do it, RW. And thanks for reading me. Feel free to leave a comment, if you're so inclined.

Also, feel free to do a review on a new story yourself. I'm trying to revive the writerly aspect of the forum, but I could use all the help I can get. ;)

With all the new blood in the AH these days, I thought it might be wise to bring this back to life.
