I'm just taking a small leave of absence. I'm stressed out and I could use a break. I need to from time to time.

but i understand taht it gets draining..... i write children's lit for a living. and am finishing up my masters in that.... then i do this on the side and now everyone is bugging me about publishing in erotica and i'm already submitting to kiddie publishers.... plus hubby and i run to other businesses full time besides my freelance writing.... and i am a stay at home 24/7 mommy to a gifted 2yr old who therefore requires a lot of my time to keep her learning and happy... she is actually passed out for her nap in my lap right now! LOL :)

so i do know burnout!!
anyway i'm trying to get my head into the chapter 3 thing...i just tied up the other two stories i was doing....submitted my 1st gay male story today so look for it later in the week...title is Humanities 301: A Lesson in Life

oh... are we supposed to be editing the person's before us?? i didn't even send mine on to anyone before i submitted it...
 
Yeah, your meant to send your chapter for editing to the person after you on the list. That way the next person on the list gets a heads up on their chapter and everyone gets to improve their own chapter.

Golden, I sent my piece to you, you were meant to send yours to Luscious, Luscious you're meant to send it to Brightly and Brightly you send yours to me and this repeats itself till we finish.

Sorry, I thought this was clear to everyone.

It's sad that you'll be leaving Lit Brightly but I understand.
Doesn this mean you won't be finishing the survivor contest? If I remember right, at this moment your near the top, it would be a shame to waste that.

I will get mine done on time. At least I should. I have plenty of time. It's just that I recieved some bad news today. My cousin passed away. He was only nine. His family lives in Virginia, so chances are we're going to wait until summer to visit. But unless something drastic changes, I'll have it done on time.

I'm so sorry to hear that, i just lost my little cousin last month... to a car crash.... he was suppose to be a graduating senior with his whole life ahead of him.... so sad and senseless when the young are taken!

I live in VA....around the Richmond area... If there is anything i can do let me know ...

The chain seems to have halted a little in wait of Luscious Chapter 3 being put up.

Luscious if your reading please let us know what is happening. Brightly has tried to contact you, I've PMed Laurel who is in charge of submissions querying about it.
So this is being sorted out, a plan of action will be decided once I hear from Laurel.
 
Luscious was teling me that it's been submitted for like 9 days, and she tried to resubmit it over the weekend wondering what the heck was happeniing. literotica has just been really weired about posting lately, a lot of my stories have been sitting for days too.

Indeed, I've had the same problem. I've also encountered something else, too. You know how, when you hit submit now, it takes you to a preview scene where you get all the information, like title, description, etc.? Well, it keeps deleting my descriptions and I have to put them back in.
 
Talked to Luscious, she's working on the problem with Lauren (something to do with systems).
Brightly she said she never recieved anything from you, so that explains the no response.

I guess the thing to do is put the chain on temporary (and short) hold until chapter 3 is submitted.

So this means that the schedule is now nill and void and will have to be re-worked when chapy 2 is up.

Oh well, at least it gives us a little longer to work on our parts!! :rolleyes:

i'm getting kinda tired of having like, 10 "pending"s on my submission's board though... bleh. literotica's just been weird lately.

i've had the same problem with the descriptions, i've been putting in the description and then ALSO putting the description in the "notes" section for the webmaster to read. that way i don't have to go back into it.
