Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

Sitting here thinking, I should clarify.

Remember when Spike was a prisoner of the Initiative? His number was 17, Hostile 17.

By Adam NOT using the 'hostile' prefix, this leads me to believe that whomever is behind this recurrence of Big Bads may not be evil. In fact, they may be good, or at the very least like Whistler, someone to keep the balance. Someone to mentally prepare William for the inevitable battles ahead. Battles in which Spike's fighting mettle will be needed as much as his soul. Mettle which he's temporarily lost on the other side of madness.

So there.

He's with the Watchers Council. He may not be a Watcher specifically, but he's in with them. Remember, they've got people in every country and government on the planet. The WC is almost as old as mankind itself.

Currently, the Watcher's are in a bad time.

Buffy said it best. It's about Power. Who has it, who wants it. Buffy has all the power. The Watchers want it back. They have two uncontrollable Slayers in their hands right now. One, Faith. In prison for the murder of a human man. The second, Buffy Summers herself who's given them no short supply of trouble. If you'll remember back to mid-season 5 when the Watchers came too Sunnydale from England and told Buffy Glory wasn't a demon, but a God, this was an issue. Power. Who has it, who wants it.

If there are some tough times ahead, they might believe it's safe to keep a closer eye on Buffy than Giles has, since Giles has proven periodically that his love and duty for Buffy far outstrips his love and duty for the Council. She is in every respect his daughter.

Watch and see.

Power. Who has it? Who wants it?

I would have to agree.

Power is whats important to this Buffy season.

I just hope that it does not revolve around conspiracies,as I hate those kind of shows.

I believe it's all going to do with the Big Bad, obviously, and theh istory of the Watchers and Slayers.

If the WC isn't the Big Bad themselves. The threat from within.

The status quo is about to go right out the window.

That and the Hellmouth is going to open, so says Hallie and Will.

willow returns next weeeeek!!!! (sing song voice)

yay

As much as I love Willow, it's too soon. Either a year should of passed between seasons, or keep her segments seperate for a year. I just don't buy her staying away for 3 or 4 months after nearly incinerating the planet.

Witches have quick recovery times.

Great show tonight. The only reason it made sense was because, thanks you to Rasta, i thought about how you said that Spike has all everything within him right now...His real self, William the Bloody, the vampire...everything is battling. But it continues to mess with my head.

Dawn is still wicked hot.

And man, i really feel bad for Xander. really. guy can't win

i see alot of myself in him. lol, i bet all "nice" guys see alot of themselves in Xander. He's the quintessential goofy nice guy. it sucks!

To me,Dawn doesnt look hot.

I have a hard time not thinking of her as a child.
