Buffy: Countdown to the Apocalypse

So it's been a long, strange journey. Lives saved, friends lost. Vamps dusted, demons done in. Year 7 more than likely ends our weekly helping of the Slayer. What we know of this season is mere bits and pieces. Every little and Big Bad are returning. All of them. The Master, Angelus, Drusilla, The Mayor, Harmony,Mr.Trick, Glorificus, Warren, Faith. Lost friends are to return as well...Janna Calender, Joyce Summers, Tara, Larry.

The focus of this season, from the precious little we know beyond the returns, seems to be Slayers in Training, and the ensouled one time William the Bloody.


Predictions?

Joss has publicly stated NO Dawnie the Vampire Slayer. But if Buffy ends, so doth Angel.

Eliza Dushku is under contract for 3 episodes of Angel, and the last 5 of Buffy.

It would seem obvious; to confront and torture Spike.


And as far as Amber coming back, from what I know, she won't be "Tara." And there shall be no more humping. As much as I truly love Tara, Will belongs with Xander, and Xander belongs with Will. It was meant since they were 5.

You'll find no bigger supporter of Tara than I. Amazingly gorgeous, she. Fantastic actress/singer. Joss absolutely loves her, too.

My thoughts are that Xander and Will just had to live seperate lives and grow a bit. Those two are just soulmates...he was the only one who could get through to her in the end. And he did. Successfully.

If this season is truly the last, and assuming no movies, my prediction is that Spike dies, giving his life to save that of Buffy's, more like Dawn's. It's the logical extension of his character. Now that he can *choose* to do good, it makes it worth so much more to give his life to save another.
