20% wow !!

I have a lunch date at 11. A new place I haven't tried. Thai cuisine. I'm looking forward to it. I love rice so I'm sure I will find something I like? And I'm taking a light sweater. Love this weather.

Monday hugs to everyone.

Its an honest question BrettJ. I fight with it. Sometimes I feel condemned for being here. I grew up being taught if something condems you then you shouldn't do it. I'm celibate by the way. By choice. I have the opportunity and offers. But in don't believe in sex outside of a committed relationship. And I think I'm pretty tame in what my interest are and what I would or would not do. Strictly a one man girl.
Its really very hard. I love sex. I think about it often. I also battle my beliefs . Mister right needs to hurry himself along soon !

Making the assumption that your Avatar is you...I think you are an attractive woman. Working in the medical you see many unusual cases, especially when it comes to sexual condiitons. Somebody wil be very fortunate to have a lovely woman that is a "one man Gal".

Welcoming prop to the Bistro. I am just newly awake and my night's sleep wasn't a particularly good one. I will be visiting the doctor in a few hours to find out the results of some tests. Hope NRSE is enjoying her meal.

Thank you for the welcome Brett.

Love to read your stories.

Evening Prop and welcome. Can't beat fried chicken NRSE. Yum!! I'm enjoying Zaxbys.

Apple picking this morning. Hardly anyone at the orchard, which is great. They had a hard winter, many trees were down. However, the growing season was great: Softball sized Cortland, baseball sized MacIntosh.

Today, wife made muffins and a pie (for me)
Tomorrow, I make apple sauce, and having Peter Brady dinner!

I got the Peter Brady reference, but I bet lots didn't..

Hope all enjoyed their day.

Prop welcome and thank you. That made my day!

RJ that sounds like an awesome day. I pick apples at Nivens orchard and make apple jellly. Apple pies and apple Butter. Apple anything is just deliscious. Would go nicely with T4T fried chicken. Almost as good as Pork Chops and Applesauce :)

I don't think Thai food is my thing. The pad Thai? Was OK. The crunchy noodle thingies I liked in the egg drop soup. The company was awesome so all in all a nice lunch. Made plans and reservations for two future weekend trips. Can you all believe it's the first day of fall!! Won't be long until Halloween. Doess anyone dress up or attend parties?

Glad you had a good day NRSE. Mine was lackluster, but that's okay.

Thai food is not my thing - most of it is too spicy.

I might like Thai if there wasn't that fish sauce. Yeah, I can taste it, yuck! It's not like Worcestershire sauce where the anchovies are over-powered by the raisins..LOL

I did not know there were anchovies in Worcestshire, but I only use it a few times a year. There are a few Thai places around here, but I've never been to them. My preference is for Italian.

Only reason I know this is due to the Cornell Co-operative Extension telling us housing project kids, when I was 8, the odd ingredients in everyday food items.

I still remember the one lady saying the difference between ketchup and taco sauce is one has sugar LOL

In most ketchup, sugar is the next ingredient after tomatoes. It didn't used to be. It's another thing I use rarely because of that reason. Plus, as kids, we were taught not to smother things in ketchup or tons of sauces. I still don't like gravy on my meat. My best friend uses far too much ketchup, I'm always telling him that.

When I was first diagnosed with diabetes, the nutritionist told me I needed to cut down on my ketchup use. She said it was high in sugar. When I told her that I only put it on cheeseburgers and very little on fries - good fries don't need them - she chuckled.

My country aunts - both by blood and married into the family - made their own ketchup. They used a lot of sugar, mostly to counteract the vinegar and "acidity" of the tomatoes.

"Piggy Fries" are awesome:

fries smothered in pulled pork, bbq sauce, cheese, optional jalapenos

We like Thai, but there's not much we don't like. Like pad Thai with the peppers to add in. I like the soup with chicken, basil, and coconut as well. I'm not a fan of all the bell peppers.

I like Zaxbys Kickin' Chicken.

Apples are good, and the best jelly for PBJ sandwiches. Cook them and some onions to some pork chops, with a sauce of balsamic, mustard, pepper, and brown sugar makes a good dinner.

I love ketchup, and probably use it on too many things.

I tend not to put anything on things, save salt on fries.

I want my food to taste the way it's intended - pizza like pizza, chicken like chicken, etc.

Hope all had a good day.

Heading to bed in a few. I have a busy day ahead. But wanted to share a story before I crash.

I occasionally use LIT chat, I even used to be a CM there. After a bad experience, I took some time away. When I went back, things had changed. So, I left again and only returned this past week.

What I always found - odd - was that I almost never ran into a reader. In the old days, I didn't use BrettJ (couldn't) but my link always led to my writer's profile. I know - with some degree of vanity - that I am popular, so it puzzled me.

Last night, almost from the instant I got on, I received a very nice PM from a young lady in Texas. I get the impression she is a fairly new reader. However, she did seem to know some of my stuff.

Why I am mentioning this here - aside from being flattered - is she gave me an idea for a story. Oddly, it was something that I should likely have written for December but I didn't want to wait. The story popped into my head, it filled her little fetishes and I've added some twists. I figured out a way to make it fit for now and hope to complete it later today.

Just mentioning this for those who wonder where and how writers get their ideas. When I tell people they'd be surprised, I really do mean it.

Later all.

That's a nice little teaser that makes me eager to read the story.

The first day of fall here. The high will be in the 80s, then to the 60s and 70s the rest of the week. Summer, I will miss you until you return.

Some days, my brain runs a mile a minute and the stories just gallop through my mind. I sometimes have to put a stop to them all and concentrate on one or another. Some days, I write a bit of one and skip around to others. We will see what today brings.
