Nice to see you T4T. I'm just trying to stay cool on a hot night. Supposed to cool down as early as tomorrow.

New page - the last one in single digits.

Good to see you BrettJ. I'm sick of humid muggy weather. I checked for Charleston this weekend and it looks like rain. Still, its early. That could change. Lots of indoor things to do but I was hoping for some beach time. Nothing is so relaxing as a nap on a Sandy beach.

I'd tear him a new one, but I don't suffer fools gladly, as the expression goes.

Quiet night here, still muggy.

I edited as I don't want to be a party pooper. He recently sneaked 100 out of savings to buy fish baits and lures. And I don't care about baits and lures. The fact that he sneaks and tried to hide it pissed me off. I have been working with a financial advisor. As of October-1 my bank accounts and funds will be separated from him. Then he can buy as many hula poppers as he wants . I just need physical help around here. Help that doesn't come. I never feel rested up anymore.

In a few years, your grandson will likely be able to help. People like your husband p*ss me off. A marriage is supposed to be a partnership. Anyone lucky enough to find a partner should do the work to keep one.

I don't understand it. We bought a huge house and all this land as a partnership. I worked equally long hours to help pay it off. Being very serious I go from 5 am until 11 pm seven days a week. Some nights I'm up later. Our partnership has turned into 90/10 split.

Understood. However, I am about to say something you already know - only YOU can change it. He isn't going to do anything until he is left no choice.

Who has time for something that lasts for hours. The buildup, with some touches and words, can last all day. However, when the time comes, hot and ready is the preference. Everybody has fun, gets their's, and is satisfied. While he has the desire to go for hours, when you know what to do, there is no need to take that long.

Good morning my Bistro friends,

Welcome back Ling. It sounds as if you had a fun weekend. If you scroll back you will see I had a few words with Doctor "P". Haven't gotten a call from my supervisor so he either didn't report me. Or witnesses substantiated the fact he was being a butt !!
No repercussions then perhaps you were right Sassy;):)

Good Morning Brett-Sassy and Everybody:kiss::rose:
Busy @ Work, but the Week seems to go by quickly :)~ cooled down here think I have to put a Jacked on going to Work today - wishing you all an exciting & fun Day:)

Morning to Ling, SCcouple, newcomers, Bistro regulars et al . . . coffee is on, with a hint of French Vanilla today.

BrettJ, you are on a roll . . . let it flow!

I don't drink coffee, is there a Chai tea available? And a muffin..if not, I'll make some.

Good Morning !

I had cheap not very good coffee this morning. But shared it in the best of company. It was Grandparents breakfast at the school. Sat with My Grandbaby and his best friend. His best friend and his 2 siblings almost live at our house in the evenings as they are also neighbors. Keeps me busy and keeps me young !

Investor you are just awesome at how you keep the Bistro stocked. What With BrettJ and NRSE being such perfect Host and Co Host. I would say the Bistro is best thread all around. Ling dont work to hard. Jacket weather sounds very nice. I have been meaning to scruffle through my closet and get out some warmer things. I wear a lot of sketti strap tank tops underneath cute sweaters. BrettJ Kudos on all the milestones and progress you are making with your writings. Other than writing out plans of care I don't write .Even here I cant get the words to come out the way I want to say them. My self affirmation and thought for the day is that even at 52 I am still young and vibrant :)

Raining bucketfuls here. WE need the rain so no complaints. I saw our HI for Sunday of 79!

Question of the day. What do you enjoy best about fall? Or choose your own season if you like? Ever made out outside? In a pile of leaves? Do you find sweaters and fall scarves sexy? Or strictly bikini weather?

I love my skinny jeans. And black boots. And my jackets. And...and...LOL. Peeling off layers can be fun!!!

BareFootgirl Hello and welcome hugs!! We will do all we can to make you feel right at home in the Bistro. Investor is excellent at keeping goodies on hand. And sometimes an alcoholic beverage or two :)

The smell: Drying leaves and cinnamon. Plus the smell of cabbage steaming for 3-4 hours on the stove (My family's recipe for gwumpkies/stuffed cabbage calls for the packets to be steamed, not baked and absolutely NO sauce. The recipe is over 100 years old.)

I could never wear skinny jeans: When your legs are all muscle and you have a booty...LOL

Fall is the best. Not all wet and sloppy like spring. A nice cool breeze at night, maybe a lite coat. Not as many bugs. The fire pit feels nice and you don't mind throwing another log on and sitting longer.

Made out many times outside. The best was sneaking over to girlfriends house around 3-4 in the morning. Since her mom was home we needed to be quiet. I pulled her out her bedroom window and we did it right on a snow pile in her yard

Oh Baby!!

So the back view is as sexy as the front. Now that's what I'm talking about!!

I love cabbage. I fry it straight from my garden. Half cup water. Half cup oil. Toss in the cabbage and salt and pepper. I haven't had stuffed cabbage in ages. RJ that sounds delicious.

In high school and college I played soccer, ran track, and rode my bike for a minimum of 20 miles a day. Yeah, so leg muscles were big

I think we're headed to the family's roots in the country to pick up a huge head of cabbage, then on Monday I'll get a pound or two of "meatball/meatloaf" mix, it's the closest to the mix recipe my great-grandmother came up with to replace the "ground scraps" she used in what's now Poland - 2 parts ground sirloin, 2 parts ground pork, and 1 part ground veal.

Then into that, add salt, pepper, shave a medium onion, add an egg, and about a cup of rice or so..mix...

Yeah, the "recipe" is more of a guideline. No one's really written it down specifically, just watch the elders make it and remember it. The only recipes she had written down were for the pastries and kielbasa, which after WWII became three recipes - one for general hardwood, one for apple wood, and another for cherry

I wanted to buy a cabbage to make my "cabbage casserole" last week - but it was 88 cents A POUND. No, not paying that!

I like the cooler - not cold - weather of fall and that a$$hat neighbors won't sit outside, plus the new TV season AND the colors.

Nice to see all of the posts.

The farmer's market where we purchase our heads don't charge per pound, they charge by the head. the 5-8 lb head will cost me maybe $3, depends on who's the cashier. If it's one of the owner's granddaughters, I'll get it for less, if I purchase other vegetables along with it, and who can't buy just ONE vegetable?

Well, I am cabbage-less for another month, that much I know. I don't understand why they charge that price and then have so many left over that they get dumped to a local food bank. It seems truly foolish to me.

Hey, we're about to change pages - nice going all.
