Tomorrow and Thursday I will be having the first of two "brachio-therapies". This is a procedure where a radioactive pellet is inserted down the throat directly on the tumor. Had it done before. It should / might help shrink the tumor.

Monday I will be having a laser procedure intending to put a hole through the tumor. All of this is supposed to make eating easier.

God, I hope so.

My love flies back to Bismarck tomorrow. I fly out in early September. I move permanently in early October. As investor has so sweetly pointed out Snow shoe and parka time !!

Good morning from my neck of the woods. I've been AWOL. I had to step away from electronic devices for a spell and just enjoy my summer. It's gone by too quickly. I do miss and think about you all. NRSE it's so wonderful to hear you are happy. I think it's great you have connected with our gracious Host BrettJ. And I did give permission for NRSE to share the photos of the time we met. She is a beautiful girl inside and out ! It's crazy we live so close a deal have only met once. Busy schedules for us both. I would love to treat she and her fiance to lunch one day. My wee one will be entering middle school soon. He met a girl over the summer and has his first girl crush. Sweetheart of a girl and I loved her grandparents. We've been traveling, beaching and just enjoying the summer break. I have something going on with my right knee. It keeps me up some nights. Stairs have been difficult but I'm managing. Otherwise I'm good. Good to see you all.

I’m working this weekend. Long hours which is actually ok. Keeps me occupied from missing a certain someone. His mom has been in Bismarck with him since the move. Helping getting things unpacked. She returns to Boise tomorrow so we should have more time to FaceTime. Or should I say more private time to FaceTime . Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Good morning

I’m up early after a 16 hour shift yesterday. I won’t be doing that again ! How are you guys doing ? I’m sleepy and hungry. My housewarming gift arrived in Bismarck. I ordered four very nice bookshelves to hold all of our books in Michaels new home office. He was thrilled and has been busy unpacking books. It’s actually a selfish gift as I think the office is about the sexiest room in the house . I plan to put that office to good use. Maybe even get some reading done . I will share some pics with our Host whim I hope is feeling much improved !

Sorry to say NRSE and all of you but I am worse. Without getting into gory details, I was in so much pain yesterday and today that until a few hours ago, I could barely move. I had to cancel my procedure and all. Still not pain free. Likely at least another day to go and if not, a hospital visit.

Hello and happy Mid day Bistro friends ,

Middle school for wee one off to a good start. He is in three accelerated classes and said school is awesome. His words ! I have my days to myself again. Partly enjoy it but mostly miss the youngun. How's everyone in the Bistro ? NRSE you are close to reuniting with your fiance and moving to Bismarck I think ? How have you both managed the temporary separation ? We are taking a few days off in September to head to the mountains. Reckon I will run into investor ?

Hope all are well. I have had a rough week but trying to get through it all. 1 day at a time.

School doesn't start here until September 4, after Labor Day. I've never thought it made sense to start school for a little over a week and then have a holiday. Our school year used to end in / around mid-June but now they have pushed it back to the end of June like it was when I was a kid. Our school day was longer too.

Not much else to say.

Investor, were it that simple. I am simply NOT eating and only dtinking enough (barely) to keep hydrated. I went and bought a few things to try and kick start my appetite. Weight is 173 as of yesterday.

On the good new front, my latest story went over very well with multiple requests for more. I'd already completed Part 2 when I posted the first one so hope they like that. Part 3 is almost done as well.
