Hey all, a quick appearance from me before bed - or trying to, anyway.

I hope no one will object if I post a new story or two shortly? Been trying to get some writing done.

Spent a bit of time texting my co-hostess yesterday. I won't reveal any confidences, but glad she is so happy.

Yesterday was an odd day for me. Until about 4 PM, I was fine. Then the pain came back - boy, did it ever. So much, in fact, they are sending another nurse (no relation, LOL) to check how much medication I used. The pain would go away - but only for a bit, then back it came. Hurt like hell.

Wish me luck as I try to complete a pile of material for tomorrow.

Good Morning from the Carolinas

Brett my friend it was wonderful catching up and getting to share some pictures of Mr McDreamy and me. Gracious I hate your pain kicked back up ? Any idea why ? Hoping today is easier free from pain. We had tornado warnings here last night. Scary stuff but I’m fine. Tree limbs and debris in my yard but no damage. BrettJ today I will try to show you my garden. I’ve been picking tomatoes, green beans, squash and cucumbers. Hope everyone is doing well !

NRSE the pain is much worse. They want to up my dosage (per time) but have yet to get the okay. Right now, it is - manageable. I doubt that ANY day will be pain free for a good long time, if ever.

I've BEEN in a tornado before, several decades ago. They look just like the do in cartoons.

Finished a new piece earlier which I will post on LIT as soon as I have time to edit the thing. Starting a sequel as well.

I often wonder if this is my new "normal" - days of sick and then days of better LING Rarely do I have "good" days. Oh, well ...

UPDATE: I had a nice 30+ minute conversation with NRSE tonight. She has a soft, kind voice and yes, she has an accent. It is nice to hear sound so over the moon when she speaks of her fiance.

The first part of yesterday was fine and pleasant. The latter half? The pain came back and it refuses to stay away. I managed - barely - to eat and drink but everything includes pain again. The morphine is holding it back but no longer stopping it, as it had done before.

I will give it another half-day and if it continues, call the home care nurse. I don't want to get sicker.

A pleasant chat with my co-host was a highlight the other day. I meant to mention that she sent several images, so I do know what her fiance looks like.

I intend to get some things done if I am not going to be sleeping.

Thank you . I will take them. Wednesday makes two weeks !! FaceTime and email just doesn’t cut it. I miss my cuddles. BrettJ I really would cry if I had to pack up your geenormous library !! Hope today is pain free and you are feeling better. I thank you for letting me share photos of my true love Of course I think he is just gorgeous !! I’m working this weekend but when you are up to it we will have to talk again. I enjoyed it !! I think Investor is picking at me with the snow shoes but I love snow !! They say October snow is common in Bismarck. Let’s see how I manage this first winter. I might change my mind. The movers are delivering more things today. I hate that Michael has had to pretty much do it all. Work has been a stickler and won’t let me have time off until September. Any advice for a long distance relationship albeit it a short lived long distance ? Hugs to all you all have a good weekend.

My sweetheart called me after work last night. He asked me what I was doing tomorrow. He is always interested in my day to day plans down to what I wear. He asked if he could take me out tomorrow night. I said baby you are in Bismarck. He said sugar buns ( yes he called me sugar buns) I’m landing at GSP airport noon tomorrow can you pick me up ?? Can I ?? WoooHooo I get to see my baby !!!! He is flying in just to see me Goodness I’m so in love. I can hardly wait to see him.

I am not sleeping well over the past few days so trying to make that work in my favor. Getting some writing done so that I can have extra money next month. Plus begin a new series for LIT although not sure who follows me now.

My co-host (hostess? Which is preferred by her / you all?) mentioned we haven't heard from T4T in a bit. You still woth us hon?

Tomorrow and Thursday I will be having the first of two "brachio-therapies". This is a procedure where a radioactive pellet is inserted down the throat directly on the tumor. Had it done before. It should / might help shrink the tumor.

Monday I will be having a laser procedure intending to put a hole through the tumor. All of this is supposed to make eating easier.

God, I hope so.

Still having trouble with food. Even when I WANT to eat, food doesn't like to go down. I had a small bowl of corn meal last night. You cook it in the same fashion as Cream of Wheat. Liked it since I was a kid.

Spoke (texted) with my giddy co-host last night. She and her fiance were watching "Casablanca" which is my all-time favoritefilm. I have seen it over 40 times, surpassed only by "The Wizard of Oz" which I have seen over 50 times. Last year the local symphony had a presentation of "Casablanca" in which they played the music live.

Off for my procedure in a few hours. Got a fair bit of writing done. I have TWO new LIT pieces done. One is ready to submit but I can't do that until tomorrow. The other needs to be edited. I will likely have a 3rd done soon, possibly by Friday. If we ever manage to get the pain controlled I might even start to get my old levels of productivity back. Still, I do have nearly 600 pieces on LIT and have authored almost triple that - not TOO bad, am I right?
