Things are going to change this year. At the moment, I am seeing someone - sort of. I've known this particular lady over 40 years. It was totally unexpected but very welcome.

I don't know if I am getting better. I hope so. I feel a bit better and am eating more again.

Hello again everyone, happy Wednesday.

Yes, I am still up, though I do need to get some rest. I just thought everyone here might like to know - I'm writing again. Started an hour or so back and it's fine. I wasn't sure if it would be, but the ideas are flowing nicely. It's time for me to return to the work and the renewed income will help to change my daily reality.

Not sure how much writing I will get done, but this first one will appear on LIT when it's completed. I can say that I think it might be my first piece for 2017, that is how long I've been away. Wish me luck.

Thanks investor. I have to return to writing because, simply put, I need the money. While I appreciate and adore the fans out here, writing was a goodly chunk of my income. I need to get it going again.

As for the female news ... actually somebody OLD in a way. Literally my dream girl from high school. Not sure where that one stands just yet.

Hello and hugs to all of you. I'm doing fine just older and slower. I'm taking next week for vacation. Going with my best friend and her grandson. Should be fun. We are beach hopping I sure hope everyone here has a nice summer.

The writing still progresses, even if my speed is slowed. I want to come back with quality and so far, think I am succeeding in that.

Got a fairly tame weekend ahead, although I do have a visitation ahead on Sunday. Someone I've known for over 30 years passed away. From circumstances not unlike my own, although more severe.

Will check in later. I need rest, even if only for part of a day.

Happy Sunday / Happy Father's Day to those of you who are fathers or have them. Neither applies to yours truly.

I remember when this thread was a beehive of activity, but it's so slow now. I am partly responsible, but as you can see, actively posting again.

I am writing (just taking a few minutes break) and the new piece is going well. I am not as fast as I was, I suppose. Time will tell.

It should be done for this week's postings.

If anyone besides myself can contact the site owners, I'd still like to know why a number of my pieces were removed. I've never had complaints, I violated no site rules and ALL of my work is mine. If you see it published somewhere under a different name, it's likely still me. I have ten working "nom de plumes" at my publisher's request.

I don't celebrate Father's Day. I don't understand the reasoning behind it. Never have. Never will. Even when my father was alive, we didn't do much, except have a cookout, if he wanted it.
