Me, I have an old story and notes for two more, all based on stuffed animals. Found out a children's magazine pays 25cents/word! Going to make them readable for 9-14 year olds.

Howdy to everyone. Taking g a quick break from vacation to see you all. Ling I'm glad to see you !! I was getting worried. I'm a beach bum at present. Heading back to the Carolinas next Friday. We are having a good time with the exception that my travel partner isn't as adventurous as I. Hope everyone in the Bistro is fairing well.

Two weeks and I'm on vacation. People are already grumbling because I'm darker than they are NOW! They can't imagine how I'll be after daily doses of hourly sun on the beach reading.

I'm very tan. A few days in the sun and I'm bronze. Native American on my grandmothers dude. Other than my nose nothing burned or peeked.
Saturday I returned to work and a fellow nurse hit my car. He never would provide his insurance info so I had to file a police report. Sucks having to go that against a coworker. I'm positive it's going to lead to hard feelings and drama. But my car is brand new. Had I hit his car I would have paid up.

NOT a good day for me, got sick - again. I am just now up and have little to NO appetite. Went out to breakfast, had a few bites and stopped. I brought most of it home. But I got some much-needed sleep.

It's in Anderson SC. Path of totality and longest totality of 2.36 of darkness. We have our glasses and tee shirts ready. What about you ?

T4T, thinking of going up to Blairsville, GA to see the eclipse . . . about an hour away . . . they will get about 2 minutes of totality. But "Blackout at Green Pond" sounds like much more fun. In the medieval days a total eclipse was thought to bring on brief periods of insanity . . . sounds like a good excuse to go crazy at a blackout party!!
