I'm gonna be OK. Right now I just feel like what else.
I thinking about quilts and cushions. And my mom's swing. She had this huge swing made that 4 people could swing in at once. The cubbyhole under the stairs. The loft bedrooms. And the snow. It was so beautiful when it snowed.

I still have so many memories and not even fire can take those. I surely appreciate the support.

Ling you stay safe and warm. I'm sending hugs. BrettJ I'm continuing to hope the road will get a bit easier for you. Sending hugs to you as well !

Rough day today. Feeling a bit old because of it. I know I'm no longer a kid, but I think my mom has more energy than I do and she's nearing 80.

I miss the friends that used to inspire me. Hoping my weekend plans bring me a bit of renewed zest.

Someone in the office celebrated her 40th birthday this morning. Her husband had two chocolate cakes delivered to her desk around 11 - that's when she and the gaggle of giggling moms go off and have their "Empowerment Meeting". Okay, when they get up away from the computers, stretch out their legs and backs, get coffee and talk shop and/or kids.

I accepted a small sliver of a piece: two layers, chocolate buttercream in between the lawyers, awesome thick ganache over it. One bite and my eyes blurred. They're returning to normal.

SO SO WORTH the elevated blood sugar levels!!!!!!!

1. College internship: I was standing under the mistletoe, oblivious. Older secretary kissed me, steamed my glasses, she went weak kneed.

2. Holiday party - kissed wife, she lost all senses he he. Got car keys away from her.

Our Elf on a Shelf is kissing one of my doll ornaments this morning. He is taking advantage of the mistletoe I have hanging. I've gotten a few mistletoe kisses back in the day !

Hey T4T, good to see that the Christmas spirit is alive and well in your new surroundings! But make sure that the elf and doll don't slip off into one of the hidden alcoves on the bookshelf . . . I've heard that mistletoe can lead to other happenings than kissing . . . not speaking from experience, you understand, just repeating rumors.

Hello to all. It is truly cold here - about minus 15 or so (which is 0 in Fahrenheit).

The past few days have been awful, with neighbor issues and more medical stuff to deal with. Not sure how much to post or what some of you want to know. Things are worse - much worse - than before.
