BBW attraction

Look behind the dust cover!

I've always had curves since I was a child and after giving birth to two children. They just got bigger. I like my shape but exercise because I want to be around for my kids as long as possible. I know that there is a man out there who will love all of me, especially what's on the inside (my brains). Due to others that I work with and friends who've had surgery. I've personally opted not too. I'm just seriously stubborn like that. I'd only go that route if your present health is in serious danger. My aunt had the bypass done and even though she looks totally different now and enjoying being thin. Her health has seriously suffered because of what it did to her body. Just way all the pros and cons before you make that decision.

The biggest drawback for me, was realizing that I could never go out to eat at a restaurant and eat a normal meal. That no matter what I ordered I would always be taking a box home. I've watched my friends and co-workers lose amazing amounts of weight in a short period of time. I've also seen others not able to lose and actually gain more.

Thank you to all the men out there who find us ladies beautiful inside and out!

[/FONT]It is so nice to hear that there are men out there that appreciate us larger ladies. It is so hard to feel beautiful and sexy when society pushes us to feel other wise. If more people looked past our outer package they would trully find what amazing and loving women we are.

To be blunt, tell society to fuck off. Be true to yourself, whoever that may be. Love yourself, all of yourself, for the beautiful person that you are. Don't lose a part of yourself for someone else, you may not get it back. This is what I'm learning now.

bbw love

Are men seriously interested in us BBWs who weigh 300lbs or more? Or are the BBWs of my size and bigger just used as a fuckhole? Just getting real on real life experiences.

Some do treat bigger girls like that but i am married to a 350lb beautiful woman we have been married almost 7 years and have two beautiful kids together. i honestly believe bigger girls have a better and more realistic attitude than skinnier girls i have been married to a skinny chick and for the eight years we were married she cheated on me for seven of them. but my current wife is extremely faithful, loving, sensual and at times extremely freaky in bed lol. but she is a wonderful woman she is bi but as we have found people are way too judgmental of someone's size and have not been able to find another female for her to play with. but all in all bigger women are more beautiful to me not just for sex although i have found that bigger girls are better in bed but they have a beauty that radiates from inside and i believe it is due to their self confidence and security in knowing who they are.:D

You have gotten some great replies. I want to re stress if you don't have medical issue don't have the surgery. Your trading one problem for another and in the long run the problem is more self esteem. Once you get comfortable in your own skin you will find that you don't much care what others think. Bigger women (which I am) in my experience tend to fall into a trap of projecting how they view themselves onto others. If you think your unlovable or unwantable that's how your presenting yourself. Want yourself!

As far as the sexual... here is my view. I am comfy in my body, I truly am happy being me. I like (a lot) sex if a guy has a kink and likes bigger women and is decent and not an ass go for it... you never know what will come of it. How many one night stands based on some kink have turned into long healthy relationships? My guess a whole bunch!

If hes a totally ass and put you down then I don't care if I'm 150lbs or 350lbs.... run the other way!

I love a BBW. I think they are the sexiest women around. I love their curves, the way they look and feel. I think a BBW is more sexually alive and more in tune with her body sexually than other women. That is what makes them such outstanding lovers. I'll take a BBW over some skinny little bag of bones anytime!

yes and no...dont get me wrong, the sex with a BBW is amazing and something i believe every man should experience. there are those of us guys - myself included being a bigger guy - who are interested in persuing something with a BBW that isnt just about sex

I do not fit the definition of BBW but I am very curvy and i love my curves...I did go through a stage back when I was an adolescent where I felt that I was not beautiful because I was not slim..I have realised over time however that it DOES NOT matter how big or thin you are..there is a man out there who will look deeper inside...

I have seen very hot guys with quite large BBW especially belly dancers, usually tribal belly dancers but others as well.

Unless you need to reverse diabetes or something I would slip the sleeve and take up belly dance, it is fun, will improve your movement and confidence, make you more comfortable in your skin and it seems to draw guys like flies.

If you can manage it go to a real belly dance school and skip the classes at the gym, they tend to be more belly dance light and not as safe IMO.

I am all for dancing...I have had my share of jaw-drops when I start moving to the music...It does help when you have some killer moves - it improves your posture as well...The way I walked and moved changed drastically when I took up classical dance back when I was in school...I became more graceful...that stayed with me even after...

So....I am contemplating getting a gastric sleeve or lap band so I can "feel normal." Anyone ever have either surgery? Pros and cons of either surgery by those who know someone who has had either would be great to hear

You need to see a med...be careful though...there are associated risks...I typically however would advise one to consult a physician because whatever said and done, there is a healthy weight for every height...And it is good for you if you want to lose weight for health reasons and because you want to feel good about yourself...If you want to lose weight because you feel that it will attract a man, it is cheating yourself to a great extent...

I wasn't thinking so much of how other people would look at someone who could belly dance but more how it would make her feel. Belly dancing makes you feel good, you become more flexible and more comfortable in your own skin.

Based on the people I have known, losing weight through surgery did not make them feel any better, they were still the same people and often have traded one problem for another. Also it doesn't always work as planned, losing size unevenly can be very hard to deal with as being non symmetrically lumpy is a lot harder than being large, so if you don't have any serious medical problems, I would skip it. After the surgery you have to be on a very limited diet, so I always wonder why people don't just go to a dietician or something and try just the diet.

Losing volume slowly is much safer, you are less likely to get huge skin folders or deficiencies.

Losing weight for health reasons can be so subjective, there is a lot of unfounded bias against people who are heavy. Becoming more fit as in heart, breathing, endurance and such is MUCH more important than how much one weights and/or how they look.

If you read what I wrote i did say that dancing improved my posture and confidence...so i was actually in full support of what you had already said...

As far as surgery is concerned, am speaking from also a health professional PoV...And weight loss does help people feel better if the issue from the start is only their weight...perhaps people you have met had other issues to start with...being 'big' often makes you subject of ridicule that has deep effect on your body concept and confidence - which means that even if you do lose weight, you still have poor body concept and low self-esteem...that warrants for support of a deeper kind...

You will also find that for some people slow weight loss is not an option especially if there are serious health issues associated with their weight...which is why talking it over with a good physician is important - the best person to advise in this case is your doctor...I do agree with the fact that there is unfounded bias against people who are big and that being fit is more important that what one weighs or how one looks... But one has to be realistic...there is scientific proof of ideal weight versus height -the ideal BMI...and I do believe one should aim for that...and that does means weight loss for most...

Now suppose I am over 300 Lbs, my weight loss will be immensely slow if done only through dieting and exercise and we know about the vicious cycle of weight-loss process..without proper guidance and support, I might just give up (that happens all too very often, unfortunately - because my weight loss will be 1 to 2 lbs a week and that is unfortunately viewed as being too low even though it is immensely safe and in the long run highly beneficial)..part of the reason why surgery is an option for people...Now having said that, I also realise that not all people who undertake any diet or exercise schedule fail - just that those who succeed, often have a great support system behind...

The reason why surgery often goes wrong (with reference to huge skin folders and uneven lumps) is because if suddenly i am losing weight without doing anything, i am generally not inclined to exercise (after all, it's all coming off). However as long as I do not exercise or start toning, am going to end with those downsides...Exercise and toning is actually advised for people who have undergone such surgeries...

And so i will repeat myself...consult a doctor...if there are serious health issues, go for it...

I have been with more BBWs then with skinny women. Why? Because I am not a small guy myself. I am 210. THat may not say much but I am supposed to be 165. There is NO WAY I will ever get that small. I did get up to 250 but because of my health I am losing it. I did it before and I can do it again. But I am doing it for my health.
I found women with curves to be more loving, affectionate and awesome in bed. It is my favorite thing about a REAL woman and that is as long as she believes she is sexy, she is. So yes I prefer bigger women.

No own ever believes me when I tell them just how much I weigh,
I've learned to hide it well but I have always been bigger and in the last few years have been consistently over 200lbs and currently I'm WELL over that

So let me just say that lit has helped me to understand that I have to find happiness within myself when it comes to how I look. No amount of praise from others, no surgery on the planet, will give you true happiness if you can't learn to embrace who you are right now and allow yourself to be confident and enjoy being you..just the way you are now.

It's not easy and we all have those days where we just cannot stand how we look but in the end if you learn to just be who you are and be happy with that, you will find those days get fewer and far between.

Don't do extreme dieting or push yourself too hard. Just be more aware of what you eat and how much exercise you get

I think your very attractive , more than that

You prove my point. If you are comfortable in your own skin and you know you are sexy, you come across as sexy and desirable. Your pictures prove that as well as your attitude.

So wonderfully said! And completely true and accurate! Ultimately, YOU are the only person you need to impress

Thank you for your input, everyone. It is a lot to consider as I have had blood clots in the part. I am very healthy. The only 2 ailments I have are endometriosis and hypothyroidism. My weight was in check until I was put on Depo Provera injections for 11 years ago. That is when my weight on my 5'8" frame went from 175lbs to 350lbs and I got severely depressed. I have been off the shots for about 4 years. The shots are still screwing with nh hormones and emotions. I know what I need to do, but I can't find the motivation to do it! It is so VERY frustrating. I don't a support system and my mom, who is usually my biggest supporte, is battling terminal cancer. Any advice? I don't mean to sound whiney or weak. That is DEFINITELY not the case...am just lost and overwhelmed. Thanks!

There are various support groups out there! Don't ever think that no one cares because that is simply not true!! There are people who are facing similar issues and there are people willing to help!! Stay strong!! :)

I'm 300lbs+, I'm in a 7 year LTR with a lvoely man, AND there are guys who just want to bang me. ISn't life grand?

I also take bellydancing and it is the best thing ever. I have made friends at my studio and it has helped my balance and overall health.

I would encourage you to look up Health at Every Size. (there is a book) My friend also wrote a book called "notes from the fatosphere" about learning to live a healthy life without focusing on weight loss. (You could also check the archives of an old fat positivity blog at kateharding.net lots of good stuff there.)

The quest to become thin is endless, even "thin" women think they need to lose weight. What's more important is that you take care of your body, and your mind, and do the things you want to do.

Don't do surgery for guys, a thinner you will still be you, no magic happens and if guys suddenly fell at your feet because you were thin, would you really want such shallow ones?

Preach, girl! I was going to say something similar and you hit the nail on the head.

After a lot of thought, and long talks with a few good friends, I have started a workpit regimen. I am looking forward to walking my first 5K. After 2 weeks, I am walking 6 days a week and am up to walking 1.25 miles in 30:20. I feel great and am losing inches. The key is...I am doing it for me! To feel good about me. Everything else will fall in line. Thank you tor all your support. Your comments helped me make this life changing decision! :)

Thank you for cheering me on. It means so much to me. I only have my best friend cheering me on right now, and she lives 4 hours away. It is great to know I have others cheering me on! :)
