I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the What made you laugh your ass off today? thread.

the Raiders beat the Steelers 20-13 Sunday, with only 98 yards of total offense and only 9 first downs. :D :D :D

B was laughing about that last night.

I was just glad to see the Browns win and the Bengals lose.

I have a question.. Keep in mind I'm just a Canadian so I know little about American Football.

I had a College game (I think) on TV over the weekend and I noticed some of the players have a whole bunch of star stickers all over their helmets.. Why do they have those??

As far as I know, NB, those stars or whatever are given out to signify a good performance by that player: a good tackle, or reception, or pass, for instance. It's kinda like getting a gold star on your homework.

Hi, by the way. :)

It was good to see the Bears get back on track. Seems to me that their schedule includes an east coast swing soon. That could be interesting. :D

it'll be interesting to see how the game goes when chicago visits the giants.

A good result for KC & for SW's Giants.

Must admit to laughing at the culmination of the Dallas/'skins game. Even the NFL score page got the result wrong initially, they were so sure of how it was going to end...

congrats on your chiefs, phaedre. i'm looking forward to next week's giants/bears matchup at the meadowlands. who does KC face next week?

Yes, it could be a very interesting game. :p

Ohio State and Michigan both took care of business today, which means that when they meet up in Columbus next week, they'll both be 11-0 and ranked #1 and #2.

Looks like it's going to be a good game.

too many damned injuries. i gotta give credit to lovie smith for keeping the bears focused after an incredibly embarrassing first 27 minutes of football. it was a hard-won victory for chicago.

Not a bad return on that field goal, either. ;)
