Anyone Miss this guy?

I think it is hilarious on Facebook when all the people who hated Bush are now sending out this interview like his words are gold.

Hmmm.. Maybe we can get them all the join the republican party after trump leave, on that condition.

Funny and good point.

Another similar example:
Years ago feminists were advocating for women's rights and against sharia law, whereas at the Women's march in DC they chose a sharia law advocate as one of their spokespersons.

Every muslim follows sharia you mountain goat fucker.

You do realize that when your house's made of glass, you don't throw rocks at people, right?

Given your newbie status you're more worth ignoring than anything; but no need to tempt the thunder blast on your head, no?

Good.

I don't miss him and I think he was a terrible president, but the new bozo is making W look like Lincoln.

This is exactly why anyone would remark about Bush. Compared to Trump he now seems so presidential and, normal.

But the question is: Does bush in this video - the only current video - , appear supportive, or not supporting of Trump?

One could take the view that W was a mere puppet of the more competent and ruthless figures, like Cheney, Hastert and Rumsfeld, and now he's being influenced by his parents and siblings instead.

Maybe to some extent, I'm sure Chaney was an evil force in the WH. But, when people like Chaney and his daughter come out with negative statements about Trump, which they have, you know we are in trouble.

Good point.
Which reminded me- in a marginally related manner:

Dunno much about american politics, but aren't your presidents basically just figure heads?
In that they sorr of enact the decisions of the political parties that brought them to power. Plus the Congress has a lot of power, even more than theirs.

For which reason I don't understand why people were so hung up on their personna and manner in which they acted in their private lives, as this latest electoral campaign demonstrated.

And then you see people being in awe over their speeches.
But the truth is, those are written by their speech writers. The presidents are just memorising and parotting them.
