*edited to add* I got rid of the upgrade.. went back to the old MSN and it was working fine earlier (I don't have it on right now, because I'm doing laundry.. not playing on the computer. )

Mine is 4.6. Is that the new and improved version? Any way to un-update it?

The new one is 5.0. I couldn't find a way to un-update it. So I uninstalled it. And luckily still had the 4.X on my computer. I just reinstalled it.

Well I haven't been using it all day, but now I'm using both and they are fine.

I haven't downloaded any updates though. Maybe that's it. Or maybe it's regional. I'm in the North East.
