The most amazing people on this planet are children. Everyone thinks they are so fragil and always handle with care. Which is true. They are but when they come up to you and say the most unexpected things and it turns out to be the one thing you need to hear there most.. that is just utterly amazing.

Last week our fishie died, but hours before he did my 2 year old told us he was sick. The next day she said he was dead and went into the sky, before I told her anything.

my father-in-law just passed away at the first of the month.
my husband is not dealing with it well, so one day last week when he was looking at some pictures of his dad, my 5 yr old came up and said"It's ok daddy, I miss him too."
My hubby wasn't crying or anything but I guess she could sense his sadness. Kids are great.
