Alaskans? Anyone out there?

Is this REALLY Dusky'e goodbye? Doubt it.

This is my last post at Lit as Dusky, and maybe my last post ever. Good bye Lit.
to thor, I apologize for the intrusion into your thread, and I promise tis is a one time quick send and go.

Seems only fair, since you, Dusky, have been directing Free Fire at my Lady, for me to at lease respond in defense of her honor.

I followed your "romance" of DG for many months. To say it was controlling, demanding, unrealisitc and at times wholly unkind, would be be more civilized than you deserve. It is abundently clear, to many of us, that what you call love quickly translates into mean spirited temper tantrums and assults on the people you publically profess to care about. I think that kind of Love belongs in another forum. Remember, I have received a couple of your un-invited sends, that broke all of the social norms of this community.

To set the record straight, since you basically accused me of making you a cockhold, I must point to several very public postings where you had clearly DUMPED , dismissed and chastized DG, long before we met. So our relationship is none of your business and I'm none of your business.

I'm also calling a foul on your claim that you had nothing to do with the anonymous feedback and flaming e-mail concerning my new stories. Your own words trap you because you mentioned two things known only to four Members of Lit, three of which would never decribe DG as you did, and then associate her with her real name. You have been called and marked as the cad that you are.

I hope you will keep your promise and leave. However, I doubt it because it is not in your personality to accept that your will, your needs and your fantasey is NOT the most important driving force on the planet. You are being such a fool when one on thread you are saying goodbye and on another assuming a new nomdeplume to continue your harassement. Sadly, there is no fire wall smart enough to complelty block a determined and self centered person.

DJ

PS: If you are looking for your t-shirt, I used it to clean my sand wedge and putter.

Holy shit. Drama in the good, old Alaskan thread?

Thør, I'll be in Seward during the end of May. My niece is graduating and I'm flying up to surprise her.

;)

I'd love to take ya to lunch on the way through, but I'm leaving in mid-May for points south and won't return until early June. Unless you're extending you trip into June, I'll prolly miss you.

Dammit. Maybe they can change the graduation date. :D

Rain is predicted, but there's sun coming thru the clouds today. :)

Thank you, hon! :)

I'll still be around some, popping in and out. Shall I mention it's 90 down here in NC today?

90°F is way too hot.......

It's not humid, so it's not too bad. Ninety in early May... Too early IMO to have to turn the a/c on, but there's a nice breeze and very little humidity. Ninety in July... You want to vacation in hell where at least it's a little cooler and there's no humidity. LOL!

Gonna have some waaaaaaaay cooler temps Friday - upper 50s. Gonna have to dig the long-sleeves out again.

LOL!

We used to have these neighbors - great people. He was from Florida, though, and had NO tolerance for cool weather (it can get in the teens here in the winter). It was early March (40s-50s usually), and I was wearing a t-shirt. He had on at least 3 layers, the top one being this HUGE heavy coat. I also had a bun in the oven at the time, so I was naturally baking anyway.

Hell, anything over 75 is way too hot for me. :)

The Alaska Aces play the first game of the semi-finals tonight at the Sully. I'll be there. I'll be the guy with the beer in his hand.

Damn. A 1-0 loss! But the beer was good.

In other news, VECO executives plead guilty to bribing elected officials (adn story) ........of course, the elected officials who were bribed are pleading innocent........doesn't seem to make sense, but does anything in politics?

Last evening, the Aces won 5-2 in Idaho. Now that they're finally into this series, we'll see how they it goes.

Otherwise, pretty nice in Anchorage. Into the low 50°F's today. We could use a good rain to wash down the world.

Hockey is over for the season. The Aces lost in Idaho last evening.

And I'm heading on vacation this weekend. :)

I'm guessing that the trip would do her in. I'm waiting to hear back from a friend who volunteers at the zoo as to her condition.

It's morbid, but is it time for a BBQ?

Let me know how she's doing. The older I get, the less I like any type of zoo.

BBQ Maggie?
