i'm having this sharp pain on the right side of my abdomen, if u use my belly button as a starting point, it's about 6" to the right. it just started today, and has been bugging the hell outta me all fuckin' day. it hurts i wonder if i should consider the doc if it persists or could i just be ovulating?(never had pain b4 with this tho)

whre did the pain START? If you felt it start in your back or on yourleft side and then shoot across to your left side, it MAY be your appendix.

It could also be a cyst on your ovary.

Either way - you should see a doctor.

I have had my appendix out, numerous cysts on my ovaries before finally having them removed..

Before you get all freaked out..

It could be as simple as a bladder infection.

it's been in the same spot all day. and it started today. almost feels like something sharp poking me repeatedly off and on.

It could be as simple as a bladder infection.

Yep - but a bladder infection would have other symptoms like frequent, burning urination and apossible back ache.

I've also had my appendix out and have a cyst as we speak. If you are not sure, seek medical attention.

ovulating is suppose to last 18 hours, so you will see tomorrow, taking some Tylenol might help too. And yes its very painful, sharp pain... when ovulating form my left side is more painful then the othre side.
