Hey, Everyone! I hope you enjoy the three day weekend. Me? Well, I wil be relaxing, sunning if it is warm and sunny enough and then taking some time to think about our men overseas...and the ones that came before them.

Anybody going to grill this weekend. What is on the menu...I am looking for ideas.

And speaking of sunning....B, would you be a honey and put some lotion on my back?

Seafood cookout tomorrow. My contribution will be this:

There will also be grilled scallops with green chili salsa, planked salmon, crab soup...good times and great company.

Monday I'll be smoking ribs. They'll get a nice dry rub the night before, and get smoked for 7-8 hours.

Hi All, sorry I haven't been around much. Work and grandsons sure do take up a lot of time. It's a good thing that my Doc says I can only work part-time, I don't know how I would handle working full time yet. Besides, the boys are much more fun to hang out with for awhile before I send them back home to their Mom and Dad.
As for this weekend, I have a couple of Memorial Day events to go to and errands to run tomorrow, I'm taking it easy and doing home chores. You know? Windows, curtains, etc? LOL

The seafood cookout was fabulous, lots of great food. We just grilled and ate as we felt like it since everything cooks quickly.

Rained here last night but woke up to a beautiful sunny morning. I love rain at night. For some reason it helps me sleep. And the tequila last night didn't hurt eaither.
