48 hours

Grrrr the episode of 48 hours this week, pissed me right off.

It is not a show we get in australia, and yet in their recent "expose" on Everquest, they chose a 2 boxing junky to talk to, and then edited every conversation with him so he only said "yep"

Ok so maybe i am mad at the editing media in general.

the media who edit their programmes to show you exactly what they want you to see, whether it be good or bad in their eyes.

Not the real issue.

OMG no. I sold my cleric. I tried to play casualy with a new account to keep in contact with friends.. but it didn't work out. Lvling just pisses me off now.

We had our first attempt at Seru this morning... it wasn't pretty lol.

we did learn alot and we didn't use the 'sploits as used by the top guild on the server (read, gravity flux to the top of the hut and nuke from there... not y axis melee)

i guess its all in the learning.

we will work it out

the g. flux thing still works? From what I understand if you kill him using a gimp method he gives you the gimpy loot they deserve for using a 'sploit.? But i thought they broke the g.flux thing.


When I quit our guild had just killed the Emp in Ssra. I didn't want to camp for 30+ hours to get stupid shards so I never saw VT.

Well I have two "friends" (or used to be friends until EQ came out) and all they do is sit around and play The Crack all the time. They don't have any time for their "friends" anymore, EQ is more important.

I don't think that EQ players are all "evil and possessed" but my friends are addicted to that damn game. I tell them time and again, real life is passing you by whilst you play this game 24/7.

Nope it no longer works from what i understand and yes the guild were presented with some brilliantly bad items for their efforts.

From what I undertand, they were the real things when looted, but soon changed to whatever they are now.

Still, I guess its good for a laugh

Since my guild is USEST based, chances are i will not actually be awake for a raid on VT, so frankly, i cannot be bothered camping the stuff.

Have helped many others though and if an unwanted shard drops, i will pick it up.

*shrug* heck i am still trying to get my emp key since it makes a very nice ring.

Any of you guys get the new Expansion yet? I gotta say, PoP is hella smooth compared to SoL. Only 1 additional patch after initial release. The zones are running almost bug-free. There is no additional lag (I actually get less lag anywhere in PoP than zones in SoL). And, some of the new features are really cool;

- plane of knowledge can be reached right from nexus; and is the gateway to just about every other zone. THere are teleports in that zone that allow you to go directly to and from many major cities.
- The hassle of running to zones has basically been removed. It takes about 4 minutes (including zone time) to go from Nexus to most major hunting areas (like PLane of Nightmare and Disease and Tranquility); and this is actually about a 4-zone difference
- The higher-end game finally has more decent hunting zones. Plane of Nightmare alone is great and offers a hefty challenge; even to a full-60 group. And, the best part; you can set up camp just about anywhere, as there are plenty of mobs and spots to pull. No more competing for Planks/Pools/4c.
- News spells/AA; what can I say.
