30 in 30 Companion Thread

Thanks for the cheering on... now I have to finish!

True and good luck, but stuff happens.

I'm reminded of this nugget my daughter got from a Thai colleague while teaching in there "It's not that we don't make plans. but things change and so must we."

Calli your 1-29 is beautiful and, to me, poignant. I want to read it with a period after "hide" and then drop down a line of space before "In that moment" starts the sentence. Just a thought but I love how this poem is simple but profound.

Trix in your 1-29 you've encapsulated I don't know what it is but you have anyway!

LOL not quite sure how to take that :D

Seconded

I lost count, saw the 29's from yesterday, then his today, grey today, looks like a good day to get drunk before noon. :) cheers

No need, to quote my in-laws "The yardarm is always past noon - somewhere in the world."

Congrats on finishing your latest 30/30 run, Trix. What a wonderful poem to finish up with. :)

Congrats Ms Trix! Sixty poems so far in this thread this year. And you ended with a knockout. :)

Also Neo darlin you are making all my "Neo returns" dreams come true, what with the coffee and the Asia poems!

Take it that I liked it! I'm crap at critique that's why I haven't in the current challenge and very well done for finishing .... you rock :nana::nana::nana:

I'm crap at critique as well, I keep hoping the others will rub off on me.

And thank you :) Though I think the rock you speak of hit me in the head because today's 30 while the last one here is also the 1st one for another site. A late starting NaPoWriMo.

ETA: wtg Calli, nice run. :rose:

Thank you! It was almost like fun. :D

Hah! you wrote some good stuff, sometime it hurt to read because the emotion so quietly presented was so strong, not saying it correctly, hopefully someone will understand
congrats

Wow, Harry, thank you. That's one of the best compliments I've ever gotten. :rose:
