1HF's av....

I want to point out a logical flaw here because I truly hate logical flaws. I'll preface this by saying 1HF is truly free to do whatever she likes. She doesn't need a forum of people to say yes or no. She's a fucking adult. A really hard, rough fucking adult. My comment isn't about 1HF. It's about people and their poor reasoning skills.

There is a flaw in this logic:

"If she enjoyed it, then it's okay."

That's just bad logic people. Lots of people enjoy unhealthy things. Enjoyment and pleasure do not a healthy practice make.

Before someone actually fails to read my post, spare me your lecture on judging 1HF. I'm not judging her. I'm judging the people who say things like "as long as it feels good, it's okay". That's the reasoning of every drug addict ever.

It's not a logical flaw if, like me, you believe people should also be allowed to drink/drug themselves to death. If it doesn't directly harm others, go to it and all the best, is my point of view.

wtf, LordP?
I always pictured you as open-minded but I guess I was wrong.
This is not about judging 1HF - this is about you pervs getting a hard-on while diving into a person's personal life. I don't care if my or her personal life involve swinging off chandeliers : Private is Private.

Even with the disclaimer, you failed to understand the point of the post.

My post was, in no way, actually directed at 1HF. It was directed at the people who use the logic "if it's enjoyable, then it's fine". I said that is not good logic. I can give you a load of examples of why that's shitty reasoning. Not one of my comments has to do with 1HF. It has to do with the people making weak arguments for or against their case.

Go back and read the original post. And how can you "always" think I've been open minded? You joined in September and I've barely posted on this board lately.

You are being a concern troll. You chose to use inflammatory words instead of just asking a question. This website we post on is Literotica.com. Not a comment section on Yahoo. There is an entire message board devoted to BDSM. All kinks of the legal, consensual types are welcome. We have an entire board dedicated to exhibitionists and their fans.

We've got some chick with an emoticon of a caning and some sort of S&M reference in her signature offering up her brilliant observation of "ouch". We have men who have been proponents of sexuality in the past now seemingly concerned about one woman's passions.

Had you asked your question a little differently I would have told you that if my 20 year old offspring came home with bruises like that I would have a serious discussion about limits, consent, and health. The thing is, I'm already having these discussions with my kids and they aren't that old yet.

We talk about anal a lot on this board. Some of the women here enjoy the fuck out of it, some are grossed out and don't want to try it. That's fine, that's understandable. Some women enjoy pain, need that release and have partners who are willing and able to provide that. Not your thing? Fine, understandable.

To try to assign some sort of mental illness to someone who enjoys a certain type of sex is so asinine.

So I started as a concern troll and ended up calling someone mentally ill? I think we're done here.

Something Carradine died from auto-erotic asphyxiation. Died. I think the one who played Bill, in Kill Bill.

Oh, I would subscribe to that same line of thinking. I do believe people should be allowed to do anything. But that doesn't make it "okay". Someone destroying themselves isn't an "okay" thing.

I would like to think that even the hardest of hearts would show concern for their fellow man that they see drinking themselves to death. Or a person about to jump off a bridge. I don't imagine you would stand buy as someone tied a noose to hang themselves and say, "Hey, it's his right, so it's okay."

Someone having the freedom and the right to do something isn't the same as it being okay.

Again, I have to clear this up for The Aellas of the world, my comment isn't about 1HF. It's a logical flaw.

I've never subscribed to the blanket "if someone enjoys it, then it's okay". The consequences of what you enjoy have to be considered. I don't see bruising as anything other than a temporary consequence of consensual rough sex play.

I think people are confused why someone would have averse opinions to a certain kink, on a site intended for sex.

However it's not a site exclusively for fetishes.

If you want to show off your bruises, go to the proper board, or expect to be judged.

Since when does joining a sex site mean you resigned your common sense once you pressed Register. People act like they signed their names in blood on here.

ok, I understand now what you meant, I was mistaken.
It's just that I'm flabbergasted that this thread hasn't died out yet. Everybody had their say, yet… they keep reciting the same points, over and over..…
((ps - I'm an alt, joined in may))

I quite take your point. But, in the final analysis, we aren't privy to the innermost thoughts and feelings of our fellow humans. Perhaps death is preferable to what they think is the only alternative, a life lived in pain and distress and turmoil. Genuine concern when we can actually do something in the flesh, followed by compassion and empathy if the individual goes their own way, is all we can do, and to do more is tyranny.

So that someone died?
And I thought you were the only smart one around here.

Everyone dies, Kitty. Some of disease, some of foolish choices, some in accidents, some merely in old age. Millions die on the roads every year. Should we ban cars?

I hate analogies. It's not the same thing. Someone didn't get in a car and intentionally crash...unless of course, mentally disturbed. Can we argue that much? I'd hope not.

I don't know.
Perhaps taking issue with one person's kinks makes others defensive of their own, however off topic as their kinks may be.

What I do in my bedroom, kitchen, car is irrelevant; she put her photo up showcasing what happened after she was with someone. This is the result. Bruising does not happen to me from normal physical activity; it happens after exertion of force. Like I said it looks like she was burnt. When I have nothing better to do I will read the rest of the thread to see if she stated what she did, because otherwise it looks pretty brutal. Taking it a bit too far for pathological reasons is what it looks like. But I guess everyone is in an argumentative mood.

Some say this is pretty pathological ...

Rough sex isn't for everyone. Not many people do enjoy it. It's not for me beyond a certain point. I don't care to get rough enough to be bruised. If someone else does, fine. Bruises go away. I have sprained a joint or two having sex though. Comes from being adventurous. :)

And David Carradine did not intentionally strangle himself as far as we know. If he did, it was suicide, and that is quite rightly no longer considered a crime. But it seems to have been an accident, just like a car crash. It's very sad. But what lesson would you draw from it?

To take the "auto" out of auto-erotic asphyxiation?

Exactly. He didn't mean to.
That's what happens when you take it too far, is my point.

Who says playing a professional sport where you're payed millions and admired by millions to skip from one net held up by sticks to another is pathological?

She got bruised up for free. Indeed it is kinky, but just not my kind of kinky. Surely some dare I say creep will like it though, and that's ok. :)

lol…
those who posted within the last 6 hours are men and two *women

Last 6 hours?
Are you saying Pookie and Wings aren't women then?
Even if you meant me, you still mean another woman...to make two.
If you didn't mean me, you meant those two. Are you sure that's a good idea?

So learn how to count and watch it.

Also who cares which sex posts?

Quite a few do, considering most NFL players end up with debilitating injuries and broke (if not bankrupt).

Here is where I think we're basically in agreement. :)

There doesn't seem to be any issue with 1HF, so let's put the focus where it belongs:

Here's the problem with Killswitch:

He doesn't believe that women have the right to make their own decisions, or have proclivities and interests that he doesn't approve of.

Killswitch is the classic white knight: A simpleton who thinks that if women would just listen to him, they'd find out what a great and wonderful man he is. He's just looking out for their best interest, and if they'd just talk to him for a few minutes, they'd totally fall in love with him, and they could live happily ever after.

He doesn't believe that women should have the right to self-actualization, especially if it involves something that Killswitch doesn't understand (which is a very long list).
