Let's extend your example to try and fit your conditions. For the particular area of the bruises on 1HF's body to be seen by her parents afterwards would mean that she was wearing booty shorts or Daisy Duke cutoffs prior to stepping out on her date. With the kind of living arrangement and type of parent-to-daughter relationship you've suggested, I would think her mom or pop would've had a few stern words about her style of dress before going out with a man they haven't met yet.
