What do you mean it "depends on the participants?" Which type of participants would justify that?

She has stated over and over again that it is something she chooses to do, which gives her pleasure, which is entirely consensual, which makes her feel good, etc. Given that she is an adult, surely that is an end to it? Unless you or KS intend to make some sort of citizen's arrest for the greater good?

Doesn't this entire thread boil down to safe, sane, and consensual? What consenting adults do with consenting adults is none of my concern, nor should it inspire moral outrage.

Sidestepping the inflammtory "beating devotee" part that is a reasonable question as is whether a medical professional or cop would have concerns seeing that. If I saw that, I would have the same sort of questions that a medical professional would have to make sure that it was in fact consensual and that it was the result of abuse or coerceon.

First that's a hard question for any parent answer simply because none of us want to consider that our children become adults.

Since I've never been one to buckle under peer pressure or do something because it appeared cool, having my two oldest children become smokers because their friends thought it was cool was disappointing.. given that I have no dumb children they know that smoking is stupid. Lots of smart people do things that others shake their head at. Both have decided on their own without any parental pressure to quit smoking.

I am NOT making smoking and rough sex analogous, since one will kill you in one won't. My point is I trust my kids to ultimately make sane decisions even if they falter as they decide what works for them.

Would you freak out or order your adult child into therapy if you noted 50 shades on her bookshelf. Have you ever read a bodice-ripper romance novel? I am fairly convinced that women on average are kinkier than men. Men who don't know this possibly don't inspire trust in women. Look at how many women come on literotica and report that their husband is fairly vanilla and they have some darker fantasies that they are are embarrassed or ashamed to share with him. Or they did share such fantasies and were rebuffed or shamed.
