Probably because I'm a wee bit jaded and cynical - nothing surprises me very much. I don't really like surprises, even good ones. I do sometimes get surprised when I stumble upon an excellent book, or watch an excellent movie, and those are both surprises that are exceptions to the rule.

I am rarely "really" surprised and I don't like surprises in general. Good or bad, it doesn't matter. I can fully enjoy beautiful things/experiences/places without the need to "surprise" me.
Anyway, the last time I can say I was a bit surprised was thanks to your challenge. Some women who I never thought I was in their radar, so to speak, sent me some very nice msg. and that was a very good surprise.

I am rarely surprised by bad things, but often surprised by good. A client being genuinely very happy about the work I did for them, that was a good surprise.

I was surprised by a cascade of toddler vomit raining down on me at 4am this morning. I think that qualifies as a bad surprise. Generally, I like surprises. But not that one.

I was surprised by a message that I got the other night. Can't say it was a good or a bad surprise. I just never expected it. I typically like surprises, both giving and receiving, unless it's a surprise party. I don't like being the center of attention like that.

In general, I'm gonna say no. I kinda enjoy the foreplay and trying to read and react to movement. No matter what I might put on my hand, it's not going to feel as warm and slippery and inviting. Have there been instances? Sure.

The answer is yes and no.
Masturbation is wonderful, and definitely more available than sex. The availability of sex has nothing to do with why I jerk off at least twice a day - it is because it feels fucking fantastic.
But sex, with the right partner? That has a level of mind-blowing (and because of connection, physical and emotional) that even the best solo session can't reach.
Alas....the right partner is a requirement for that to work. Not everyone is so blessed.

I'd fall into the "depends on the partner" category here. There are definitely times when masturbation is better, in terms of pure sexual gratification. So, for me, pretty much always. But if I had a partner I'd feel differently, maybe.
That said, it absolutely can be. It's simple, and consistent and selfish. But I think having a live person in the sack offers a lot more opportunity for excitment and adventure, in addition to all the physical delights. And that's awfully hard to top, when you get right down to it.

I am indifferent to surprises honestly, my reaction is generally dependent on the type of surprise, but, I generally can just accept them as an unexpected thing and stay indifferent.
