Sex & Shenanigans

It has been my experience that you with a stuffed turkey, you either cook the bird or the stuffing correctly, but never both.

I try to stay out of religious arguments, especially for a meal I cook once a year, so I don't give that much a damn.

Don't gate keep side dishes. (Except Brussels sprouts-- they should only be served along with a gorgeous Swedish woman.)

Now I really want a grilled cheese.

I’m freezing in my lab today … had to actually put a hoodie on under my lab coat.

It’s only 6°C outside and even though it says it’s 70°F inside it doesn’t feel like it.
I get that. I am inside, and a thermometer right next to me says 72 (although I am not positive if works). But I just put on a hoody also… I think watching the big wind storm going on outside is making me cold. 🤣

One trick that I've used for breadstuffs-cooked-outside-the-bird is to replace the water in the recipe with chicken stock. Helps add a lot to the flavor as in breadstuffs-cooked-within-the-bird!
What’s a recipe?
I eat that and I give zero fucks about what anyone has to say about it.
This coming from a place that renamed boxed macaroni and powdered cheese “Dinner”.

It’s true though … especially in Canada. We use both metric AND IS both all the time without even thinking … it just comes naturally to us.
Ahem.

*Gets my soap box*

In almost every way, the metric system makes the most sense. It just does. However, when it comes to measuring ambient, atmospheric temperatures, all systems fall short. °F is, like all other forms of US based measurements, just not quite right. °C is not precise enough. I know we could use a decimal, but now there's a third number.

I suggest a new scale, °H, also known as the human scale. 0°H is freezing at sea level. 200°H is boiling at sea level. Easy, divisible, no tenths needed.

Vote for me, ruler of the world, because the status is NOT quo.

*Puts soap box away*

I think °C works well for me… 0°C is cold as fuck. Obviously because water freezes.

If it gets to 40°C … that’s almost halfway to boiling … OBVIOUSLY that’s hot.

There will be no more discussion on this matter…. *looks over at @Bry1313
