Just saw this and was going to PM @Whiskeyjack about it since he’s in NY state and we’ve talked live theatre before, but there’s an SDCC appearance and 2025 tour in the works, so I figured I’d share with everyone here:

So there’s an off-Broadway show in a small (500-seat) NYC theatre based on D&D. There are 30 playable characters and each night, the audience uses their mobile phone browser to choose which characters will participate, and certain other details that affect their adventure so every performance is different! Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro are official production partners and they incorporate elements of the game like lore, settings, mechanics, etc. They also take callout suggestions and have audience participation opportunities at certain points, and they even encourage cosplay, as well as taking/sharing pics and videos. Sounds like a fun and chaotic time, and will be keeping an eye out for upcoming tour details!
