When I was in college, the dorm I lived in had "holidays" every Wednesday. Among them was Ministry of Silly Walks day, where you had to walk to and from class, the cafeteria, etc. with a silly walk.

There was also William Wallace Appreciation Day, Freeze Tag Day (RA's and our governing body were it, and you were only safe in the dorm, cafeteria, or a desk), Lumberjack Appreciation Day (think Lumberjack song from Monty Python blaring all day), The Floor is Lava Day...
