The Conservative side is absolutely grinning ear to ear, thanking CNN and hoping Biden stays the democrat choice.

Next few days of analysis and polling is gonna be very entertaining.

Yes Joe is old. No doubt. He mumbled. Absolutely. But if you actually listened most of what he said was spot on.

Trump spoke clearly. He projected. He enunciated. He made almost zero sense. He sounded freaking insane at times. He lied incessantly.

By appearance Trump "looked" great. Until he opened his mouth.

Apparently President Biden had a cold, which explains the voice and some of the uneven performance.

That said, the corrupt orange traitor did nothing but lie throughout the debate. There was no need for that orange POS to prep for the debate because it was all the greatest hits (lies) from a MAGAt rally. Easy peasy.

On substance and policy, President Biden crushed the corrupt orange traitor, but due to his voice and his stutter (which may have been exacerbated by his cold) I feel many of the points President Biden scored will be lost on most people (but not the fact checkers).

One can reasonably ask if the President having a cold, and it affecting his performance to a noticeable degree, is disqualifying at his age. It’s a fair point. It will take President Biden appearing in public after he has recovered from his cold, and delivering a more even performance in a stronger voice to allay the doubts and worries of many people.

If President Biden doesn’t rally quickly and make a stronger public appearance in short order, then maybe it IS time to talk about replacing him, with President Biden himself taking the lead in the process of selecting a successor. (I would be fine with Kamala Harris taking the lead in that eventuality.)

Overall, not a good night for President Biden, but there will be opportunities in the coming days / weeks for redemption. If President Biden can’t or isn’t able to take advantage of those upcoming opportunities, then it’s time to let someone who can.

I agree with you 100%. He has accomplished a tremendous amount.
Now, someone has to convince him to step aside, and the Dems have to figure out how to replace him with a strong candidate, preferably someone who had not been chasing the position for years. Someone who doesn't really want the job but agrees to do it to bring the party together because it is so critical to win this election, and Biden does not look like he can do it.
