Had Ukraine gone for that peace deal, they'd currently have all their 2013 land except Crimea and the Donbass Republics. Instead, they've lost nearly all their Black Sea coast.
And who are these "world democracies"? The governments defying the US authorities on this are mostly in Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. North America and Europe has basically fallen in line behind the demands of the Biden administration, even as the Nordstream pipeline was blown up in Europe.
