I'm in a church meeting today, but I've been on my phone looking this stuff up instead of paying attention. Looks like Hayloft was a Mother Mother song first (2008), then Nickel Creek covered it in 2014. Then Mother Mother just did Hayloft II a couple years ago. I don't know my way around a lot of newer music, but I took my oldest kid to a Mother Mother show last year and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to.Just found it!! I love Nickel Creek so this is a treat.Hayloft I is the truer cover and the second one is like a whole other level. Wow.

Tove Lo is probably my favourite "new" artist that I've stumbled upon over the past decade, and I like her latest album so much that I was excitedly saving her for the 2020s theme. But then I got a very pleasant surprise yesterday, when lavendersilk posted her for the 2010s theme! Awesome choice! She picked something from the classic album that first pulled me into this world, so it's only fitting to bookend that lovely selection with something from her most recent album that I've purchased. And I particularly enjoy some of these stripped down versions.
Huge bonus points for this song being about my very favourite sexual activity of all time... mmmmm. Delicious!
