Day 31: A non-English song

This is one of my favorite songs. The translation isn't quite right (I'd argue it's "shake your bacon" although speck is colloquially used to also mean flab) but it's still a catchy time with a wholesome message. I dance around the house with the kids to this one a lot. I just call it "the bakery dance song".

Schüttel deinen Speck - Peter Fox

Day 31: A non-English song

This album is chock full of nuggets, including this version of Wolly bully (Español) by Rudy “Tutti” Grayzell. Both Rudy and Sam were born to Mexican immigrant parents, and brought a sense of Tex-Mex to their garage and Rockabilly shenanigans.

In fact, Rudy is an original al member of the rockabilly hall of fame.

Easily the best tribute album I’ve ever come across.

Rudy Grayzell and The A-Bones - Woolly Bully

Day 23: A song from the 70s
After forever - Black Sabbath
Day 24: A song from the 80s

This is religion - Public Image Limited
(This is for the atheists out there, may offend religious folk)

Day 31: A non-English song

I know it's a cover of Ritchie Valens, but I've always preferred this version:

"La Bamba" - Los Lobos

This marks the first time I have completed an entire month of the Monthly Song Challenge! 😎
Awesome - congrats. and awesome song. I am seeing Los Lobos in a few weeks. They are opening for X.

I recognized them standing in front of me at National Airport and said “Hola”.
Day 30: A song that tells a good story

Pink Martini - Hey Eugene
Pink Martini was the answer (actually question) on Jeopardy! yesterday. Who-hoo.

Day 31: A non-English song

A beautiful song full of metaphors that just sounds sexy if you do don’t understand the words.
