Moving to a new thread

Hopefully this will solve some of the thread crashing issues. Currently I can’t load new pages without getting the white crash screen or getting stuck in an endless loop of auto-refreshing.

Will add the link when I have it!

MLAS - I don’t know if creating a new thread will fix this issue. I use my phone too, and it glitches quite often.

Here’s how I’ve overcome it. I let the page load and don’t touch it or try to scroll up or down. If it glitches, I refresh and again don’t move the screen until the page loads fully.

I think it’s the frames of all the songs and embedded videos…

This usually works about 90% of the time.

If a page totally glitches, and it just won’t load (abt 10% of the time), I just go to the very first page of this thread, which I know always loads for me… then I post at the bottom, and it will come out as the latest post.

Just some workarounds, I have found that work with this thread and threads with many embedded YouTube videos.

I think I can speak for everyone and say that we miss your song entries.

Thanks. I usually do well on Decades Week, up through the 90's. But once we get to the 00's, I struggle mightily, and usually have to tap out.

I was able to complete it this time only because I figured country music might be a genre that frequently mentions God.

I'm pretty sure it was kenbrack here who introduced me to "I hope you're happy" which single handedly helped me move through some incredibly big feelings around the end of marriage for me.

I really wanted to use this song for my 90s deity entry. These two songs sum up the 90s for me quite well.

I ended up going with God walks among us now (Jesus song number 5), but really close to posting this one…

I read some of the comments and everyone thinks it’s about religion, but I’m pretty sure it’s pretty solidly tongue in cheek. At least that’s how I always took it.

I have to admit my knowledge of newer stuff (10s and 20s) is a little less gooderer.

I have something like 60-70 thousand downloaded songs, so I can search through them pretty easily. Newer stuff not as much. How do you search a playlist or a Sirius channel?

Google helps occasionally.
