I far prefer black & white to color. Far less distraction, more focus on the subject. I've shared both if these, here's a split. What are your thoughts? B&W or Red?

Ditto, It is both a thread I feel comfortable posting those pics in as well as a place to be creative. You're right, we should keep the spirit in balance.

I'm not going to lie, it's been a shit few days. I was sitting on the pier, doing some soul searching, trying to reconcile my actions ,that were not in line with my values, and exactly how I got there, when this gentleman landed next to me. To me, he at once looks both wise and innocent, calm yet full of kinetic energy. He kept me company without judgement. And, when the tears dried, he plucked the clip off my hair & flew away, taking much of my grief with him.

Beautiful detail and textures.

I must pick up my photographing again! BW is so fun to play with! This below is some years old, but I like it.
