I just want to show my thanks to @Saltfountain for this thread. It's the only place I feel comfortable sharing in.

The level of outright thirst has always been high but ignorable but lately it feels like that's changing and that's a real shame.
I think those of us that are here regularly should try and take responsibility to keep to the spirit of the thread and make sure it stays a place that's primarily for creativity and support.
Sorry if that comes across like me being a downer.

Ditto, It is both a thread I feel comfortable posting those pics in as well as a place to be creative. You're right, we should keep the spirit in balance.

I'm not going to lie, it's been a shit few days. I was sitting on the pier, doing some soul searching, trying to reconcile my actions ,that were not in line with my values, and exactly how I got there, when this gentleman landed next to me. To me, he at once looks both wise and innocent, calm yet full of kinetic energy. He kept me company without judgement. And, when the tears dried, he plucked the clip off my hair & flew away, taking much of my grief with him.

Can we all not be dicks and ruin what is a safe space for a lot of people?

Also I find it really hard to be creative on my own, but if I have a theme to post to, it makes it so much easier. There has been some amazing creativity here, yes some sharing but some amazing shots with great composition.
@Saltfountain puts a lot of effort into this thread. And it's his thread. Let's respect his ideals for it. There is nothing to stop other creating threads where it can be a pick up place.

But I'd like to keep this as it is.

I know I sound like a broken record, but the thing that makes this thread different (I hope) is that it's one where people can post safely without loads of thirsty people immediately hitting on them.

If they don't want pms, that's under their control, but this is a thread where I hope to give people who often don't feel safe in other threads but would like to share a place to do that.

There are a million threads on here which encourage thirsty responses, and that's great. But this place aims to be an oasis of (sometimes sexy) creativity.
