Day 21: A song you discovered by pure chance
Pure chance? I’m not sure what that means when it comes to discovering music. Any song that I didn’t deliberately go looking for? I’m not really sure.
I’m going with a song that I don’t remember how I got to it exactly. Maybe it was chance?

Heard it on a soundtrack. The band opened for the one you went to see. Someone put an earworm on a jukebox.

That's where I went.

Day 21: A song you discovered by pure chance

Stumbled upon this song a few years back, loved the singers voice and now I’m a Jimmy Barnes follower.

Day 21: A song you discovered by pure chance

Thank you apple music. Not sure what I played for this to come up, but it introduced me to one of my favorite rappers, a whole genre of youtube rap I had never heard of, as well as to atlus’s voice. Checks a lot of boxes here. Not sure if it was the first crypt song I heard there but it was the one that made me go oh wow.

Day 21: A song you discovered by pure chance
I discovered my still favorite girl group by chance on a channel that I doubt exists anymore called IMF (international music feed). They mostly played non-English language songs but threw in some stuff from the UK, Ireland, and Down Under. Is it weird that I kind of want to go to Dublin in May to see their reunion tour?? Don't judge me! 🤣

I never heard this song until an Apple commercial aired with a little kid riding a bike and this playing in the background. The commercial was planned for the Superbowl but never made it b/c people started listening to the song and apple's implication that a 9 yr old boy was listening to this didn't go over well.
I've never listened to anything else by him but I found this very catchy.
